i dont like the range. not for a jet. i went inside and its extremely cramped inside. i do not like it. cockpit was nice. the lay out was nice but i dont like the flap lever "ABC123" set up. that means its flap setting one instead of flaps degrees 5.

Embraer, formally Piper, make terrific aircraft. As an aviation tech, I find Embraer w/Pratt engines-a joy to work on. Phenom; Sharp aircraft and it will do well in a sluggish market. Good Job!

Embraer beats Bombardier, on price and technology. Need prove? Air Canada, a great airliner and Bombardier biggest customer, chose Embraer. Many major Airliners buy Embraer and still buying.

Even Brazil can make a good plane, over here in Australia Civil Aviation Safety Authority would kill anything they deem 'Unsafe'. Embraer would be considered 'dangerous' if it was made here. Die CASA!

Gol Transportes Aéreos Flight 1907 was a B737, registration PR-GTD, on a scheduled passenger flight from Manaus, Brazil to Rio Janeiro, which collided in mid-air with an Embraer Legacy business jet on Sep 29, 2006 over the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. All 154 passengers and crew aboard the B737 were killed as the aircraft crashed into an area of dense rainforest, while the Legacy, despite sustaining serious damage to its left wing and tail, landed safely with its seven occupants uninjured.

Trust! Embraer is a major airliner manufacturer, and has delivered hundreds of airplanes flyiing over US every day. I would trust them! Does anybody remember the Legacy X 737NG collision over the jungle? Remember who safely landed? Embraer does great planes!

This airplane doesn't even look like a VLJ. It looks like a standard light jet like a CJ1+ or a Premier IA. I like it!

Hi Planeboy,

In fact the market just changed its category. It's not considered a VLJ anymore. It's in the brand new category ELT - Entry Level Jet, which cessna and cirrus didn't manage to achieve. So far its performance is above them all!
