This is still my favourite Holly song. Always gets me. I really hope you get on a CD one day. Always feels to me about the struggle to find ones self and the determination to take the hard steps to making a change, a struggle that many people who have had to face their past demons and move forward have had to take. I know when you wrote it, it was aimed at a lighter situation, but it the lyrics lends itself to personal struggles so very well :)

I have a real problem sometimes when i listen to songs, i tend to focus on the music rather than what the song represents through the lyrics and emotion....i see past them, i dont always hear them....until now. I was blown away by the composition initially, now i'm blown away by the passion and depth in those words...they make me think, feel and wonder...about myself.

This may even be better the "i live through the song"...can i say that? oh my, i never thought i'd say that!! :-S

This is a wonderful song and video Holly. I like the basic 'Holly with a microphone' approach to the video. It is reminiscent of your "May It Be" from 2 years ago, although there is much more performer evident here. I also like your powerful and effective use of a bridge in this song.
