She's alot better than quite a few sistas with the silly ass weaves, fake nails and other nonsense that exist now. Go to grocery stores and clubs and you see it. The sista was essentric(even for that time period of 1966or67) one of the earliest to show that "style". The singing is interesting to say the least but not every sista needs to have a gospel sounding r&b voice. I love a sista who doesn't always try to have stringy hair or permed hair
