i definately agree with you, i should have only uploaded this video once i had gotten all the facial expressions down. i am watching st0rmfx's video while i do it. check out my latest video - garbage - i can't seem to make you mine. this video i put a day's worth of editing and uploading. my other videos i just did a direct upload,, which is why they all suck so bad :)
One final comment: You need to work on your facial expression. Your face is very non-communicative. You make a few transitions, but do not represent the feeling of the song very well. Please, study st0rmfx's version much more closely with this constructive feedback in mind.
I definitely commend your effort, and encourage you to continue with your ASL education. It is a very beautiful language, and the interpretation of music is a very specialized application. (Many Deaf people do not like music, but there are many who do enjoy the interpretation and performance therein.) My advice to you: Practice, practice, practice!
I'm sorry to tell you this, but this video is horrible. Your camera is capturing at somewhere around 15 frames per second, which is not conducive to an accurate representation of ASL. Your fingerspelling is very stiff, and is indicative of you being a new signer. While I congratulate you on your effort, you really need to use a better camera, and practice your signing a lot more before taking on this song. The video to which you are responding, (st0rmfx's rendition) is a far better version.
Its big blur of hands.
