The objective of this film was to show people the true image of the downtown eastside. Covering up the problem, by feeling sorry for them is a waste of time.
No, I do not have a solution to the problem because the problem is too vast, I'm not god. I showed you the problem as I see it, as everyone should see it. Instead of wasting your energy on me try doing something about the problem. I did! Glad to get your gout.
What was your objective shooting this video? All this seemed to be was some ignorant jackass filming people like animals at the zoo. Somehow, disconnected people like yourself forget that all the addicted, homeless, and prostituting women ARE PEOPLE.
Your video did not have any solution, did not give and incite, and most important when creating a documentary; you didnt fucking talk to anyone!? this is a joke.

Why did you feel threatened for taking pictures? I worked down there for 4 years in that area providing health services and dressed casually. Not once did I encounter any threatening situation. Just because they are homeless and poor, does not make them violent psychopaths.
You do not understand the dynamics of the area. All you see is "homeless + drug addicts = violent murders"
Go down there with a video camera and stand there and film what you are witnessing. I wouldn't want my picture taken if I were one of those persons. Especially if you are doing something illegal. You won't be filming too long. Trust me.
I understand the dynamics of the area. What do you think the film is about? It's about the dynamics, not about how beautiful or wonderful or how much YOU would love to live in the neighborhood. Defending them is not the answer.
How dumb you make it sound really scary if you you were in the same situation as them you would probally have a different point of view everyone on that street as a different story to tell remeber they were all once a baby before the entered that kind of lifestyle so you can't judge
@fishbelly ill be straight up honest with you, the 2010 olympics killed a lot of people. it made things worse, and waste a good several million dollars. and now more cops are in thewest downtown side, new cops, rookies. that just wanna make a nice arrest on some lawyerless native kid to get promoted
central park is a whole different story
