@ruchi750 - The rule is that you'll put "e" for the feminine form and the "s" for the plural form and obviously "es" for the feminine plural form.

The subject Ils is masculine therefore you don't add an e. Only feminine subjects receive an e. If you were describing yourself using the subject Je and you were a girl yourself, you would add an e accordingly. Ils is plural though, so it receives an s.

C'est bien, mais au début, c'est un peu trop d'information car la plupart des livres sure FLE (aux Etats-Unis) commencent par les verbes avec avoir au début et dans la leçon ou chapitre suivante, ils vont traiter les verbes avec être. Si vous pouvez faire une leçon uniquement sur le PC avec avoir, ça aidera bcp. aux enseignants américains. Merci
