actually through the first half of the game Alma is trying to consume becket. but during the second half of the game itself, it shows that alma has shown affection and a sort of connection with becket, thats why she doesn't kill him, but rapes him in reality while he is figting hallucginations in his mind. Even though the machine doesn't destroy her, it shows in the end that she is pregenant with beckets child. something she's wanted since the start. and of course thats where Fear 3 comes in.
