Loved Neighbours from its start until about 1997, then it went down hill and I stopped watching.

1997 spoke for itself. Lance got a girlfriend in the form of Amy, Ruth found out new guy Ben Atkins was the son she gave up for adoption, Harold and Madge came back full-time, That same Ben was involved in massive car accident on the racetrack, Karl and Sarah kissed, Bill cheated on Anne with Ben's adoptive Sister Caitlin, Darren cheated on Libby with Malcolm's girlfriend Catherine. And of course, Helen died.

1988 was when I used to watch it every day, the timing was right for college. Plain Jane Super Brain stole my heart and has never given it back (well, not completely). I wish they'd make Neighbours episodes available for download on i-Tunes like so much tv is. I could pick the ones I want to see again, rather than have current "Iconic Episodes" dvd releases. I'm not impressed by them.
