  • Nice scratch

  • @colomblanco

Sorry about not having the pocket in view. But rest assured ... there was no scratch (although we were a little worried).

  • @DrDaveBilliards Haha, I noticed that. These videos are such a good resource btw, especially with the high speed footage.

  • @colomblanco

    Thanks.

Please help spread the word about my vids, website, and instructional products.

  • @colomblanco Did you hear the ball go down? Because I didn't. also you could see the line it was on it ended up about an inch and a half away from the pocket on the right side.

  • Great advice.

  • Thanks.

  • Dr. Dave,

I got to a point about a year ago where I was finally able to put serious draw on the cue ball. I was so excited I developed a tendency to use draw more often than necessary. Naturally, it started to hurt my game instead of helping. A friend told me I knew just enough to get me in trouble.

With great draw comes great responsibility. Ha!

Videos like this are extremely helpful for players like me who need control. Like you said, less is more.

    Thanks again for the help.

  • Actually, Tom Ross (fellow BD columnist) is the guy talking in this video, so he said "less is more," not me ... but I agree. I'm glad you think the video is helpful. Tom and I filmed a lot of good stuff together.

    Regards,

    Dr. Dave

  • @MrFoxtrotdz I to had the same problem using to much english. Now I have to stop using left and right english to cut balls in. That will get you in trouble as well.
