That blue shell struck at a slightly different time than I was expecting because I didn't see it over your head. How did you know when to use the mushroom?

I tried to estimate its location by listening to its sound, but I think that time I was just lucky.

@PlutoTheSecond Use the mushroom when it is coming down, but I didn't get to try it, I had a chance to try it last time but I panicked and used the mushroom early and the shell hit me. (P.S. I like this series!)

I don't think I've ever seen someone hold onto an item that long, apart from in time trials. With my luck lightning would strike before that. Epic win!

Haha, I really had understand you if you had lost this race, my VR turned ca. two thousand points lower, while I was playing against a group with 4000 VR! Bad luck always find me.. Some of the times it was my own fault, like when I tried the ultra shortcut at Grumble Volcano, but failed one time, two times, and ten times! No chances to win then! Another time i tried the "big" shortcut at Delfino Square, but before the jump the lightning hit me, and when I tried to boost, the blue shell came.....

u think ur always put in low vr groups, i have about the same vr as you most of the time and i get with newbs in the 3000s 4000s and mostly just 5000vr

I remember when you mentioned taking the halfpipe jumps for the first time. You handled them like a pro in this race!

One of the underrated advantages of a kart is that you can control those kinds of jumps much more easily with four wheels than with two. It's a challenge to line up those jumps consistently on a bike.
