For Eight Glorious Years, His Magnificence George W. Bush worked to combat the filthy hippie elements in society, only to see them climb back into the light like roaches after Republicans left office. What a shame.

You're not against power -- you're merely against being powerless. You're not against authoritarian regimes -- you're just against authoritarian regimes that don't serve your interests. If you and your people -- and believe me, I'm well acquainted -- had your way, the power structure would merely be inverted. No less brutal. No more just. The difference is, you don't want to earn anything. You think you're entitled to everything, equally. And when you don't receive, you demand and you take.

When I was a young punk, I used to dislike cops because it more or less went with the territory. It was a "they hate us, we hate them" mentality, and we liked to believe we were hated because of how we thought and dressed and acted -- but it was also precisely why we thought, dressed, and acted as we did. Since I've grown up, started thinking far more freely and critically, and stopped playing victim, I find that I experience more harassment and brutality from so-called punks (closet Marxists).
