u cant only cut elder dragons tails off wen they are under 40% of health ;) and just mash itrs head and u'll eventully get horns.

the tails can be cut off at 100% but u have to use dragon element man

I couldn't seen to cut off a village Lunastra's tail with Smoulder for some reason...Then it snaps like a twig the next round (If I don't kill it).

you can use grtsword and guard in front of a wall, then the Monoblos would stuck into the wall, so you can cut it off.

Farming is a term used for when you repeatedly kill a monster to gain materials, E.g constantly killing a monoblos to get say monoblos shells, etc.

Yes. Cutting the horn is pretty easy. I like to use barrel bombs when his head is stuck in the rock. Then a few hits/shots will do the trick.

I suggest cutting the tail first though, as he wont get stuck anymore after his horn is cut.

Of course you can kill it with minimum health.Your using Rajang armor which is stronger than what most people have the first time they do the quest.

i know this sounds silly but how do u get rajang armour? ive killed the duo rajang in the elder quest and twice in g rank yet there is no rajang armour available to buy from the crafter.

Rajang armor doesn't actually have the word "Rajang" in the set, its called "Golden" Example: Golden Haori, Golden Kote, Golden Hakama, etc. Sorry if my posts mislead anyone. I just call it Rajang armor because its crafted from Rajang materials.

Most likely you are missing the Horns? Each piece of the Rajang armor requires 1-2 horns. Kinda annoying.

I'm using an application called RemoteJoy on my PSP (requires custom firmware). It sends the game signal to my computer via USB connection. And the barrel bombs, my armor set (Rajang) gives an attack and defense bonus while health is below 40%.

Rajang armor set gives an attack and defense boost when you're under 40% health.  I just wanted to play around with it.
