Even having been following Malice Mizer since Tetsu, I think that the best era was Klaha :< Gackt and Tetsu were just fine, but seriously, the vocals and overall turn-around Malice Mizer had with Klaha is just astonishing.

yeah i wondered about that. looks like they are playing, but not sure to what degree.. a lot of it (the BG loops and such) is very pre-done. the vocals however were NOT lip synced x) which is COOOL~

Malice Mizer is my favorite jrock band and i think they own american bands as well generally because i don't like rock music. But Malice is rock but puts talent into opera choir,sync,organ, and their songs have mysterious endings Ive never heard in other music that do anything similar like in shi no butou. There 3 vocalist is also good. especially for when i'm in the mood for listening to a different voice.

I don't think anyone ever mentioned how they blended sounds very nicely. The bass doesn't feel drowned out which is always a plus. I guess some are about music, others about style.
