  • why cant todays electronic music be so simple and yet so good? *****

  • @14energy

Because nowadays everything has to sell big time. They want to make a lot of money on a short period of time.. & to make it even worse, they put some stupid voices in the songs f.a. justin timberlake, rihanna, blablabla... It really sucks :(

Luckely there are still some good (after)Clubs & DJ's ^^ You just got to know where to find them :)

    Grtz from Belgium

  • @14energy society has changed. people value different things. nothing stays constant. find something you like and stick with it, comparisons are useless. there are kids out there who will adamantly tell you today's stuff is better than old-school trance.

  • @bobflyer yeah but their fuckin wrong though . .

  • @jambamz yes. i wish they realized it, but perhaps moving forward is merely to stay away from things that are in the past?

  • @bobflyer hmmm now we are getting a tad philosophical....

  • @14energy it is sad that trance has basically become the new bubblegum pop, especially considering how extraordinary its roots are. but many of us old schoolers have found some of the same depth in the new minimal or neotrance sound. while no one makes music like this anymore, it is a pretty good alternative. even some of the greats of old school trance like Oliver Lieb has been doing some of the minimal/neotrance as Solieb. if youd like any suggestions, let me know.
