  • My son reads the labels of food I thought he was well too particular to say the least but made by Proctor & Gamble Multinational manufacturer of product ranges including personal care, household cleaning, laundry detergents, prescription drugs and disposable nappies. I never new that they made crisps jeez thanks for telling us I need to read more labels. I liked Pringles too :( won't be getting them anymore.) don't know what you're eating now.

  • Looking at labels is correct but as ben said, some of the ingredient names are not clear and accurate as listed and whats more important is the production process involved that's not listed.

It blows my mind that half of it is not even potato.

  • @govinda102000 Have you seen the video where sombody puts a match to a Pringle and it burns, as if it's made of parafin or something!

  • Fucking grim. These Satanic bastards are the real terrorists.

  • @32GaugeSlug That's right.

  • Ill go out and shoot my own food if they tell me what to eat

  • @Stank420Dank Good idea; that may be the only option for us. But I fell optimistic. Organic food is so popular in Britain that the suppliers can scarcely keep up with the demand. GM foods are having a tough time

  • You remind me of ashens!

  • Don't know if it's true or some propaganda by some guy on tv that wants to be president. But he says our president agreed to implement this Codex in our country.

    This is terrifying

  • @Silbiu23 We've got the problem in the EU with the new herbal remedies directive.

  • I got a pringles can like a month ago, kept the can cuz it's a nice container for plastic cups.

And it doesn't say anything about Codex Alimentarius, protein level is 1gram per 25 grams of chips, so like 4% I guess. Lucky me my grandparents live in the country side and I get products from them pretty much weekly XD milk, cheese, eggs.

Oh yeah, prob important. I'm from Romania.

  • @Silbiu23 btw Romania is a member of the E.U.

  • Anyone else thought he sounds like wheatley from portal 2?

  • @pikminstudios1 Hmm. I'll have to watch that. People think I look like Al Murray, the Pub Landlord.

  • the codex thing isnt on my pringles can...is that a european regulation? and some info on salt; NaCl is NaCl( sodium chloride) whether it comes from the dirty ocean or the dirty ground. every bit of it is processed and sanitized.

  • As for the "Codex" label . I am with ya. They do have a place /definition in the online dictionary- World Health Org..But, with controversy surrounding this organization also. And for the first time seeing it on your pringles tube , i definatly have a curiousity that doesnt seem right. And why does Procter & Gamble produce this product? Strange , because i thought they make anti-dandruff shampoo and other household products to do with non-consumed chemicals. Very odd.

  • @ssl668 Hi SSL668. Thanks for commneting. Interestingly the last time P&G were in the news was because of the toxis shock tampon scandal. Have you seen the vid where somebody sets fire to a Pringles crisp and the fat makes it burn! There should be a warning on the label saying: "KEEP THIS PRODUCT AWAY FROM NAKED FLAMES"! I eat as much organic as I can; and this is good because more shops are stocking it because people want it! It's the best way to fight Codex.

  • @benthejrporter . Yes ,and thanks Ben.And no, have'nt seen "Flaming Pringle" video, yet. And i wonder if some of their other products are even safe for humans? I am definatly going to stay away from P&G products . I do use alot of other name brand items and have gradually been using natural/ organic items recently . (few years)Organic seems to be the best and safest to use. Also, recycling is been my daily duty for the past two years also, Aluminum is very toxic and plastic also for environment

  • @benthejrporter I am a recycling all my waste that is possible. Card board/paper products/tin/aluminum/platics. The plastic and some metals are very toxic for our environment. Aluminum ,very bad, so i either sell the cans or if its is a small amount un resellable to rcycle plant ,i just drop off at city recycle bins. Thanks again , and Organic is my ultimate goal, for either food and houshold products. I be back with good and or interesting update of any helpfull ideas , Thanks ,steve

  • @ssl668 Thanks, Steve. Good luck with that. Your heath will make it worthwhile. Also, have you seen the new adverts; they're actually calling THEMSELVES "P&G" now. i just used it as an abbreiviation. I hope they didn't get the idea off me. :-(

  • And i did notice ,on labels i do not normally buy to have very little nutritional values. But very high in salt contents,WOW, And that could be very dangerous if a heart condition exists or for long period of time . Sea salt is my next alternative, moderate use and for cooking seems to be safer than regular table salt., But, i still buy foods with "Reduced" and less salts. Never salt food with salt allready in its ingredients.Organic is pricey , but has low to no salt content or sea salt added

  • I did not see any "Codex" ingredient label description on any of my 15-16 food items purchased here in albuquerque ,n.m area food store .. It is perfectly legal for a customer to read "All" of an ingredient label before purchasing. And for some reason ,the employees and managers seemed "uneasy " at this idea. My question is . Can a store alter/change an existing ingredient label after it enters on/in their property? As to not tell the public of certain ingredients or origin of product?

  • And if i see any and/or a codex listing ,i will post what and where it is sold here in the states. Great idea and your exactly right to mention "Organic" foods for safer eating. I usd to work in health food store as stocker and noticed people buy "Limited" amounts of organic , because of no preservatives in foods. This saved money on large amount spoiled foods and hey, No preservatives are better allways. I am trying 1/4 organic and 3/4 with preservs. and am on the lookout for Codex too.

  • Thanks Ben! And i am keeping my eye out for this Codex listing on all my purchased foods . I noticed one viewer said they only saw "MSG" on their pringles can. They (Codex) might be experementing on certain areas of the world (populations). I will save your you-tube site and tomorrow i have to get groceries and on the top of my list i have "Codex", Not to buy of course ,but to find on any of my purchases and not to buy ,with a little investigating. Thanks for your information, Till 2marrow,

  • I dont see codex alimentarius on my pringle can but I do see MSG..thats why you cant stop popping

  • @MrJimSlim1 Yes! Not all of them says Codex Alimentarius on them. The other flavours don't.

  • @hyouma09 are you ignorant? All this crap, just like Aspartame and artificial sweeteners, fast food etc comes from America.

  • FUCK Pringles please don't eat them anymore, even before this video i knew that they are unhealthy, with the E621, E6xx stuff (MSG, monosodiumglutamates) they put in there. Check out MSG for yourself now, find out what it does to the brain.

I know when i ate pringles ot other stuff with E621, E632 etc i felt sort of dizzy, not quite in present time, whoozy. Please dont buy this crap! I only know this recently, and i'm glad i do.

  • Thank You For The Video.

  • @XahaTr0sman You're welcome.

  • dont eat pringles, cuz you'll end up as big as you

  • @peacockorchid Bigger probably.

  • Shut up fatty, I bet you eat them anyway

  • @360lolz I never touch them, Shut up, Skinny!

  • Uhhh Crunch!! <3 HEEE HEE

  • i always read labels and never eat garbage like Pringles, and yet your sharing this is the first time I've seen 'codex alimentarius' on a label! Thanks so much for this great post. It's very helpful, and I've shared it w/ my FBFs :)

  • tnx for this vid! ;)

  • @rg11 Cheers X

  • THAT'S FOR THE PRINGLES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM YOU IDIOTS!!!! AMERICA'S CHIPS DON'T HAVE THAT SHIT.

  • @hyouma09 Lmao you fucking moron its the same. And in regards to this video, you need to stop with conspiracies, you see that wine there, its got a shit ton of 'chemicals' inside them.

  • @debs222 I CHECK THE INGREDIENTS FOR THE CLASSIC PRINGLES EVER TIME MY GRANDFATHER BUYS THEM AND THEY DON'T HAVE ANY OF THE SHIT THAT IS LABLED ON THE CAN IN THIS FUCKED UP VID SO STFU >:(.

  • @hyouma09 Well done, my pringles here in the UK dont have half the shit this guy mentions, hes a moron, but the pringle factory is still the same...

  • @hyouma09 YEAH BECAUSE US FOOD IS MUCH HEALTHIER THAN EUROPEAN FOOD RIGHT AND BY THE WAY I THINK WE SHOULD GO EASY ON THE CAPS LOCK

  • @hyouma09 Are you sure? Don't trust them!

  • @benthejrporter We probably have worse stuff lmfao...I'll check the ingredients. I hate eating pringles.

  • @benthejrporter you cock it's an EU thing, so Americans WONT.

  • @Novelladelleda What goes on in America goes on in the UK, you pussy!

  • @hyouma09 lmfao i bet america has this crap and even worse stuff in lots of their foods...

you know why? cus u americans are so easy to fool lolololol stupidos

  • @hyouma09 AMERICA'S CHIPS ARE EVEN WORSE YOU DUMB RETARD CHECK YOUR COUNTRY NO WONDER AMERICANS ARE SO DUMB

  • @hyouma09

    lulz at the tool

  • thanx 4 the vid.

  • @clivefromyorkshire Your welcome, mate.

  • don't listen to the haters, thanks for posting.

  • @bondsan Thanks, mate. I'm used to haters, they don't bother me.

  • if you love them, dont make a video on how bad they are to your body.....

  • @argentina1986diego I am going to miss them I must admit :-(

  • my can doesnt say codex alimentarius...

  • @kieraanne88 Not all of them do. So far I've only found it on the plain flavour cans.

  • @benthejrporter thats odd... none of the plain ones i have say it...

  • @kieraanne88 Oh. Dunno why

  • @benthejrporter any unused energy is stored as fat in our body. so its about calories for sure but some metabolisms burn more calories than others eventhough they do nothing

  • @JaymzBond1 I think this is the case if you eat calories from natural sources. Certainly this is what it seems with people I know.

  • i always wondered how all the pringles potatoes have the same look!!!!!how did they sliced them????/

  • @TheMotogirl1993 They probably grow like that in test-tubes! :-0

  • @benthejrporter that in a good think!!!! l like the pringles and i dont car if they have bad ingredients!!!they just perfect!!!!

  • @TheMotogirl1993 OK, it's your choice. Hope I haven't put you off them TOO much.

  • when u buy something check the calories it contains and dont get fat

  • @JaymzBond1 I'm dubious about the whole calories thing you know. There are plenty of people who eat massive amounts of calories and don't put on weight. I think weight gain is more to do with the KIND of fats or sugars you eat. No fancy supplements necessary. I try to avoid processed fats and sugars and try to eat as much organic wholefoods as possible.

  • Comment removed

  • thanx 4 upload codex is evil from my research so far !

  • @gina2190 It is. It's designed to control, deplete and pollute the human food supply.

  • Lunatic

  • You are fucking crazy man. Next you'll be telling me that abortions are good for you if you use a stick instead of "The illuminati chemicals".

  • @AstrayPenguin Now you're just trying to marginalize me. I suggest you look up the Codex Alimentarius food inperialism agenda.

  • Hi Metro NY Yank here. Have NOT seen any Codex labels on anything YET ... but I believe the law comes into full effect in the U.S. end of December 2011.

Of greater concern to me is GMO foods - which are NOT LABELED here in the States. Right now there is a group of activists marching from NYC to D.C. to insist that our gov't enact labeling laws for foods that contain GMOs - so that we can exercise FREE CHOICE.

Pringles suck because they are made of dried potato mash.

    Thanks for the Vid!

  • @MzProgressive Hi, Mr P. the first Codex-based law, the EU Health Foods Direcive, has already come into force and has greatly reduced the effectiveness of natural remedies.

  • @MzProgressive Thanks for your comment, Mr P. This kind of thing really bothers me too. I have an organic food box delivered. I've written to the provider, but they don't sound very bothered.

  • Put a shirt on Weirdo...

  • @TheRedneckdragon No. Can't be bothered! :-)

  • What evidence do you have that the vegetable ingredients are GM? All GM food has to be labelled as such under UK law (with the exception of cheese). Making such an allegation could be considered libel.

  • @SonOfFurzehatt Actually the Soil Association accepts 0.013% contamination for ORGANIC produce. I'm sure that the levels for non-organic food are much higher. And what's more even food not deliberatelky made with GM contains GM because GM DNA is now spreading out into the biosphere in general. Also I've seen plenty of imported food without GM labelling. What's more Codex is in the process of abolishing even that level of labelling. Now if P&G want to have this out in court, they know where I am!

  • @benthejrporter Yes, the level for non-labelled food is 0.9%. That doesn't necessarily mean that GM is present, and even if it is, what effect do you expect it to have at such low concentrations? Even if it were 100% GM, what evidence do you have that GM is bad for human health? In this video, you cite no supporting evidence. You just throw out assertions from a paranoid delusion. If you want people to really take notice, do some research and present it.

  • @SonOfFurzehatt I did omit detailed discussion of the nature of GM foods, yes. I could have put in more because I have a huge amount of evidence that GM is very dangerous to huiman health and the environment. See the work of Arpad Pusztai and Susan Bardosz. I reviewed their speeches on the HPANWO blog. see index for details.

  • Why r u naked?????

  • @halffaceshow I wanted to get to the bare facts. ;-)

  • Those drugs that make you keep eating somehow don't work on me. I could stop eating pringles whenever i want. The drug doesn't have an effect on me. When I'm full, I stop, when most ppl say, "just 1 more..." does anyone know y this is?

  • @lsstoon I'm not sure. I've not eaten Pringles for quite a while.

  • So exactly why are Pringles dangerous? You fail to make any real point just generalizations about P+G and junk food in general.

Codex Alimentarius just dictates what is on your nutritional info label not what actually gets put in the product.

Also the word you cant pronounce is maltodextrin which is a common starch that acts as a adherent/vehicle for the spices.

  • @paulvolio A good job you can pronounce it and I can't! I think I do make a point and not just generalizations about P+G. Also Codex Alimentarius are far more than just food labeling regulators. In the UK now the nutrients in vitamin supplements has been cut to much lower levels based on their own policies in the EU.

  • @benthejrporter So what is your point then? Pringles are the sword of the codex?

Junk food is no good for you? A factory that makes a product can't make a different product?

P+G is the devil and causes toxic shock syndrome? You are a bit paranoid?

  • @paulvolio Not in the least! The toxic shoxk scandal was very real. I think it even went to court. As for Pringles being rlated to Codex: why is it that I can't find any other food product with direct references to Codex on its labels?

  • maltodextrin, Enzyme modified egg yolk another (GMO) ...And look this one up> BETA Carotene(color) then it goes to say right after that...*ingredient not normally found in mayonnaise!! Godbless man keep lookin up stuff information is always key to preparing for the future...if anyone else says other wise they are idiotic brainwashed losers with only the intention of staying selfish and dumb...peace out man fuck off to all the uneducated haters!

  • @breakingelite2011 Thanks, mate. I'm glad you realize how important this is. I don't care if nobody invites me back to new parties!

  • First of all man im very glad i stumbled upon you...i watched the pringle video and hoped it wasnt another idiotic video wasting my time and it in fact was very informative and to the point ...I am a truther my self and rely solely on information and using it to therefore unlock minds im so super happy to know there are more people waking up and not staying ignorant! I went through my fridge and found more things ...like 'light' mayo by kraft with '...ingredients say..Modified food starch

  • I bet you're a real hit at parties.

  • @ablestmage I might be, but I've only ever been invited to one party. ;-)

  • @benthejrporter join the club -.-

  • You know what I love?

    Pringles.

  • who the hell eats chips?

  • @opnwndo I do sometimes.

  • i was eating a can of salt n vinegar pringles (mmm.. my favourite) when i watched this.. needless to say i didnt finish them off!

got to say though, it seems like you cant enjoy anything these days - too much meat does this, too much fruit does that, crisps manufacturers are out to kill you..

on a serious note though, good video, glad i found it, gonna read up on this Codex Alimentarius stuff

  • @thatloser88 I know it's bad like that, TL. It seems anything you eat, drink or breathe in can kill you! I long for the day when we won't need to worry about that any more.

  • @benthejrporter not in our lifetime i dont think, mate

  • @thatloser88 I think it will be... if the food addititves don't make us die young!

  • @benthejrporter Actually, people are living longer on average.

  • @Armetius Yes, we're embalmed alive!

  • and if they are doing things to purposely make us unhealthy, so we die sooner and don't collect our pensions/social security, in the mean time then doesn't it put a strain on the national health care systems anyway, since more increasingly unhealthy people will need medical treatment.

  • @firozfuryu But healthcare is an industry! It makes Big Pharma very rich. That's another side to the same coin.

  • if they want us to eat more addicting and unhealthy foods so we become fatter and die sooner and avoid worldwide food shortages from overpopulation, don't the more resilient fat people in meantime potentially contribute to food shortages anyway because they have to continue to feed their fat faces, defeating the purpose?

  • @firozfuryu I think Overpopulation is a myth and I've made another vid about that. It all becomes clear when you understand that the NWO is modelled on a global population of 500 million, less than 10% of its current population. But we'd never vote for that would we? So they come out with excuses like Overpopulation to coopt the junior elite into the Conspiracy, seeing it as "justified". Then they secretly poison us and degrade our immune systems. These are not humans as we know them... ctd

  • @firozfuryu ctd... so don't judge them on what YOU would do!

  • Eurgh, this is a typical hippy video. Not being funny, but he looks like he's eaten too many pringes anyway.....

  • @FANNYLEROUX I never touch them. They're my girlfriend's daughters. Why is this vid hippy?

  • @benthejrporter Because youre trying to throw shit at a company that does not deserve it. Fact is people eat crap, So let people read their own labels. No need to for you to be going into the in's and outs of what p&g makes etc, a company can make more than one sort of thing without them being the same. But im sure you are aware of that. If people want to eat pringles then they will, this video is just isn't needed.

  • @FANNYLEROUX I disagree. Even people who know about E-numbers etc don't appreciate the significance of Codex Alimentarius or wonder why Proctor and Gamble are making them.

  • @benthejrporter I love how you can say that about people who know about e-numbers. Fact is it makes no difference who produces the food, it still complies with british law, if the food was that bad for people it would have been banned. Proctor and Gamble are simply doing what a company should, that is to make money. They put a product out there, people can choose if they want to eat pringles or not, it is upto them.

  • @FANNYLEROUX Yes it is up to them, but they have a right to hear both sides of the storty. You're very over-trusting if you think just because the British law passes Pringles as safe then they are safe! The US FDA approved Aspartame because Donald Rumsfeld corrupted them.

  • u mad?

  • @xVandelx No, U?

  • And in the tags why did you put conspiracy theory topics? Illuminati? New world order? Really? Your comparing pringles ingredients to someone trying to take over the world?

  • @dmc2811 Yes. The driving down of food quality is part of the New World Order Conspiracy, which is very REAL indeed!

  • Here's a theory I have about pringles:

STFU and eat the fucking crisps

  • @dmc2811 NIAMY (Never in a million years!)

  • You fucking gay porn eater popo don't fuck up prinels

  • @MrDanne33 Sounds like you've been eating to many of them!

  • @MrDanne33 seems like you have already been dumb down by them .. what the fuck is a prinels .. it's spelt (PRINGLES) and if you eat a full can of them you find that your belly will start to cramp up and you become sick . before you judge a person maybe you should do your own studies on it .

  • Look out for "Natural Flavourings" and "yeast extract" too. These are often (always?) MSG.

  • @mtthwbrnd Yes. MSG can be called "natural" technically. They know to give it it's real name is a marketing non-starter! This is why they also use code as well, so-called "E-numbers"

  • @mtthwbrnd Yeast extract? That includes Marmite. I hope that's not got MSG in it. You either love it or hate it and I LOVE it!

  • @benthejrporter "Marmite contains free glutamic acids, which are analogous to monosodium glutamate (MSG)." From Wikipedia.

  • @mtthwbrnd Aw Damn! :-*( I bet Nutella has Aspartame in too, doesn't it?

  • @benthejrporter Don't know. Why do you eat all that processed crap anyway?

  • @mtthwbrnd Some of it's OK in small amounts, so long as it doesn't become my staple diet.

  • @benthejrporter Of course, a little aspartame here, a little MSG here, a carcinogen here, some mercury there... hmmm, all those little bits of poison sort of add up though! Don't it.

  • @mtthwbrnd Hopefully we'll be able to get organic marmite soon. There's certainly a market for it and more and more manufacturers are making organic versions of popular foods.

  • thanks for your video friend. liked it!

  • @TheX4honda Thanks, X4.

  • @TheX4honda Thanks, TXH

  • This video made me hungry for some pringles now.

  • @PIanetKrypton Oh shit! What have I done!? :-)

  • Subscribed.

  • @zackwo4 Thanks. Returned

  • Gmo stands for genetically modified organism

  • @lainfi888 Or "Guarenteed to Mess up your Organs"

  • That was a joke by the way, I will be more modest from now on. BTW, Pringles are harmless in moderation.

  • @beetzart77 Well a few won't hurt you, but if you eat them regularly they'll do you a lot of harm. Ditto my answer to your "Aspartame experiment".

  • I eat Pringles all the time, can't have done much harm as I've got letters after my name now!

  • @beetzart77 What are the letters? GMO or MSG?

  • there is a excellent book called " The Chemical Maze " its a guide to all the coded numbers that are in the brackets on the back of all food products

  • @spellgrounds Thankds, SG. I'll have to get a copy.

  • I just noticed that on my tube, last time I buy d@ shit

  • @fatturdburger Good for you, FD!

  • "Codex Alimentarius" sounds like some kind of bacteria or virus. It kind of is, if you think about it.

  • Nope 1 can was jalapenos and another were barbeque. But thanks for your info =) it's best to make potatoe slices and fry them yourself.

  • @GabsFilms Growing and cooking our own food may be the only way to be sure it's safe soon. But I feel optimistic. I don't think it'll come to that.

  • I actually just bought pringles and I searched the ingredients list but their is no codex o.o

  • @GabsFilms not all of the tubes have it on there. Were they the original flavour?

  • I don't think Pringles in the USA have the Codex Alimentarius regulations printed on it. I think it's because some Americans are very distrustful of anything having to do with the UN, so the Pringles company are keeping quiet about it.

That being said, Pringles are disgusting enough as it is. Made from material that might have been potatoes at one point, but processed and re-processed that the resulting product tastes like salted cardboard.

  • @Felamine Codex by definition wants to control all food, farms, medical and dietry supplements. Maybe in the USA the law is different so they don't have to declare themselves as often as they do in Britain.

  • Thanks for bringing this info to our attention Ben.

  • @butt1machine You're welcome.

  • humnn thank's for the advice

    ***** stars / thumbs up

    peaceout

    ~Eleven

  • @SoaringEleven Thanks, mate. Eat well and live long and healthy.

  • In the states it is called PRINGLES,

why does it say Pringoooals on it,

is that the British version, or is this a joke ??

Please let me know I am confused now.

  • @BeavisNacho It's a special edition for the World Cup. It's called Pringles in the UK too usually.

  • At first I thought you were making this up because it is very hard to find a frame in the video where you see it but I found it at:

    1:29

That's the most insane thing I've heard or seen all day and its been a weekday! (time-distortion joke)

  • @BeavisNacho See moire on Codex Alimentarius.

  • the pringles in Canada are coated in Monosodium Glutamate.

  • @OzKnosis Yuck! Codex is more powerful in Canada I hear.
