As a Muslim, I've got to say this debate was very poorly managed. There is absolutely no distinction between the question and answer and many questions were not answered at all. The moderator is clearly biased and mocks the Christian brother at many points. This does not speak well of Islam or Muslims and gives the impression that we are afraid to answer questions and cannot discuss matters openly. Just my opinion.
Muslims are right... we should all just accept the truth. Quran is the book from Allah and it has never ever been altered and never will.. because Allah said it is and will be protected... the bible has been altered so many times it is no longer the word of god... people,, just read the Quran and study it that's the only way you are going to know the truth. Got him! Firstly, Islam teaches that all the prophets are without sin, but this dude just acknowledged that on judement day when God judges them they all will have some sort of sin to account for. And at the same time I respect Jesus' commandment which is (he quoted Deuteronomy 6:4 without adding/removing a dot) "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:" As mentioned above, Jesus quoted it exactly like it was in Deuteronomy, saying OUR God, including himself.

As a Muslim, I've got to say this debate was very poorly managed. There is absolutely no distinction between the question and answer and many questions were not answered at all. The moderator is clearly biased and mocks the Christian brother at many points. This does not speak well of Islam or Muslims and gives the impression that we are afraid to answer questions and cannot discuss matters openly. Just my opinion.

And at the same time I respect Jesus' commandment which is (he quoted Deuteronomy 6:4 without adding/removing a dot) "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:" As mentioned above, Jesus quoted it exactly like it was in Deuteronomy, saying OUR God, including himself.

Allah S.W.T (god) has promised to protect the divine book (Al-Quran). read meaning holy Quran. if your want to find the truth of your religion your must discovered it to yourself.

@paragas86 i dont understand, if the same God made all 3 books, why did he allow 2 of them to be changed and he only protected the 3 book. because it would seem the first 2 books are foundation and the 3rd would sit on the first 2. so if the first 2 are corrupted and are not longer a good foundation then its safe to say that the 3 will not be able to stand. because it came out of the first 2.
and why would God not protect everything he created?

@ccamful I reply to you question, Allah know the best. there is wisdom(hikmah) behind the incident. (read and refer to Quran and hadith). Satan (Iblis) was created from the fire. angels from the light, while the humans from the soil. Satan(Iblis) was once an angel is the best among the angels. Satan is the most widely worship and praise to Allah. until the first man created by Allah. Adam .. the father of all humans.

@ccamful Allah(God) commands all the angels to prostrate to Adam as a sign of respect, but Satan did not bow. as the chief angels, Satan is supposed to bow down before the angel. Satan said''I created from the the fire, why I must bow to the humans who created from the soil. I am more powerful from the soil''. Satan questioned and disputed about the creation of God .. he thought himself more powerful. due to pride and pompous, Satan cursed and banished from heaven by God.

@ccamful before Satan banished, Satan has a the request to the god. I will mislead the son of Adam and his descendants until the Day of Judgement. Allah(God) allow the request. because (Allah knows the best.). Allah(God) wants to test us whether we want to choose heaven or hell. we choose! and that is why Allah(God) created the heaven and hell. live in the world to be tested, but have eternal life in the hereafter. seek the truth. read the original bible and compare it with the Quran.

@ccamful (read the whole verse). try to be friends with Muslims. Not all Muslims are bad. If you are trying to reach the truth, Allah will help you .. if God does not protect us, we may have been long dead. you try to think good things, God gives us food, shelter, clean air we should be grateful. not questioned and disputed what was given him ....

@paragas93 incase you have not noticed that your god calls for the death of everyone who not a muslim, so why would he want to help me. as far as i am converned the one u worship is a lier, deceiver, warn monger and seek to destroy anything that does not bow down to him, why would a god who created everything be so ignorant ? so as far as i am concerned your god is everything that is evil , so why would i ask him to help me.

@ccamful Allah (God) the Most Merciful, Most accepts repentance the person who committed the sin. if the non-Muslim who enters Islam, it was like a white cloth. like a new born. even though so many sins, Allah (God) still forgives. Allah (God) gives opportunity to the satan(Iblis) through his angels to repent. even if Satan(Iblis) was cursed and banished from heaven. But Satan(Iblis) is pompous and arrogant. Quran 8:12 I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and His Apostle.
please explain how your god is so merciful when u have these quotes from you book, and there are many many more that describe killing in detail. you sound like a pretty decent person but u have to wake up to the truth!

@ccamful all the prophets are written in in Quran. so much the story of the prophet in Quran and hadith. All prophets, preached among the jinn and mankind, to worship the One True God(Allah). but many are deny. In the Quran was written,''There will I make the jinn and the human except to worship me''. God is the Allah (God) of Abraham. In bible (Hebrews version, the original bible) it is written, the prophet Mohammad as the last prophet.

Why can't they both be true? Why can't it be: There is only one God, Muhammad is one of his best prophets, and he sent his son to Earth so that all men may be saved?
It's obvious that Muhammed was a very influential prophet, there are dozens (less known) just like him in the Bible--so there's nothing against him in the Bible.
As for Jesus, is there anything against him being God's son in the Quran? If so, please respond informatively and respectfully--MY INTENTION IS NOT TO START A FLAME WAR.

@ccamful I appreciate your passion and NO one should ever follow any religion without having that type of belief and conviction :) . But plz avoid making unfounded claims about Muhammand and the quran. Muslims genuinely hold jesus in extremely high regard, but the claims that Christian makes about him (Muhammand) lacks both respect and reason. We are both members of Abrahamic faiths, and thus we have it in us to discuss our beliefs without skewing the other's belief. Peace to you.

@ccamful in the early part of the quaran mohammad talk of peace, but those versus have been abrogated by later passages which basically calls for the destruction of everyone that does not accept islam and mohammad.
Jesus teaches us to tell the truth, islam teaches us to lie when it benefits islam. Jesus teaches us to love our Neighbors as our selves, islam teaches us to kill them unless them accept islam.

@ccamful Quite obviously you have no interest in the actual teaches of islam. Your statements are all conjecture, not founded on any basis of fact. Here's a fact for you to think about, Muhammad confirmed Jesus and believed in him and all muslims believe and follow the teachings of Jesus. Do you know how come? Because they both said the same thing, None is worthy of worship except God. Can you deny that Jesus said that.
