  • what total twats.. saved by their good music though lol

  • Lol

  • 20+ years later, I'm not aware of any film project from them. Anyone know of any?

  • Guys... I'm hunting high and low here in YouTube and Google to see if I can find a clip of Kevin Godley playing ANYTHING other than singing (and even in that, I think Lol, Graham, and Eric all sound better)! Am I being unfair to Kevin Godley here? Do you know something I don't? Can you point me to a clip that shows him playing ANYTHING other than singing?? Coz if not, then what the hell was he doing shuffled among three amazing singers, instrumentalist, and song-writers??

  • Look at Kevin behind the drums in "Art for Art's Sake". Great singer going back to Hotlegs, IMO. Key example: "Fresh Air for My Momma" on first 10cc album.

  • You see Kevin Godley behind a drum kit in maany of the 10cc videos. He has an amazing voice so you might see him behind a drum kit with a mike in front of his face. I think Kevin has a beautiful voice. He can hit some serious high notes and has a beautiful falsetto. Don't you know he's a trained graphic artist and writes a lot of the song lyrics? Yes you are being unfair to Kevin Godley. I had "Sheet Music" when I was a teenager ON VINYL. I have been a 10cc fan since I was 12.

  • I prefer Eric as lead vocal if it's any comment about 10cc in general, but Godley does amazing vocals on "Cry" -- in my opinion one of the most powerful vocal performances without going over the top (Michael Bolton comes to mind).

Every time I hear some idiot do a cover version it "makes me wanna cry". If you can't come close to duplicating or providing something original, why bother??

  • (^ so who now owns the option rites to CONSEQUENCES ?

  • These two guys are among the very greatest of musical talents ever produced in the UK. Like so many other people who have posted here, I miss their collaborations too. I have all their albums too and they still send shivers up my spine for all their strange brilliance. Thank you guys for all the years of great listening pleasure.

  • Maybe I'm reading too much in this & knowing it was toward the end but their body language does seem more defeated/tired, especially while waiting for the other guy to finish speaking. Good clip though!

  • Yes that was my first reaction when I watched it , they looked a bit tired. But they had some big plans with the movie that never went through.

  • A shame most people tend to know them only for "Cry" - most certainly one of the most interesting and inventive musical duos ever!

  • I can relate. They were always right up there with Lennon & McCartney to me. A great partnership that I sorely miss. Both have done projects with other artists. But what they did together will always be all time favorites.

  • Who was to know that their partnership was coming to an end? Howling At The Moon remains unmade. I love 'em and miss 'em, but those brilliant records - L, Goodbye Blue Sky, Consequences, etc - remain.
