  • nice man you need a good studio for this shit

  • complainin bout swing? does this sound like techno to u???

  • You see how he's nodding his head when he's on the piano? That's called S-W-I-N-G.. it's a straight ahead rhythm with a little bit of give and a little bit of take. You throw something out late then pull it back in when the time is right - it takes a tremendous amount of natural rhythm that you complaining clowns couldn't begin to comprehend. Go listen to Thelonious Monk before you come back here talking about Dready being out of time.

    IT'S CRAZY AS HELL!!!!!

AND THIS TRACK ISNT OFF-TEMPO ITS SOMETHING CALLED SWING

  • @africanmaan there is a lil button on youtube next to the the video setting it looks like a snow flakes click it and the snow turns off

  • it's offbeat on purpose... wow you don't know anything

  • So many offbeat things... Its melting my brain!

  • @minxkitty8 its called swing. gives the track character

  • I don't know why everyone thinks this stuff is difficult to do, It just boggles my mind. The best sucks.

  • @kewriga515 show us something then, genius.

  • i actual kinda dig this track why people hate it

  • The piano part was so off-beat that it was cringeworthy.

  • that beat is good as hell man people just haten because they cant make it

  • He buyed an maschine for this? WTF

  • he hasn't got much talent...

  • The beat sucks, end of story

  • @kewriga515 MEET THE PROFESSOR OF MUSIC EVERYONE...I'm white, grew up making beats when "ignorant people" like Jdilla, Pete Rock, and Rawls were all using machines WITHOUT your "classical training. BTW hip hop doesn't owe you shit and not one person in here came to hear your 3 paragraph long rant.

  • functions best. You have to push the boundaries until you break them and ease someone's mind into thinking that it can be done. People didn't start playing freeform jazz in the early 1900's. It began with the dixie marching band's and shortly afterwords, hard be-bop. Please understand i'm not trying to be racist but when a stereotype hasn't proved to be wrong, I roll with it. It isn't popular opinion but I don't care. I think hip hop needs to prove me wrong before I can say otherwise.

  • @kewriga515 I'm WHITE and I can appreciate his style. As far as ignorant? check your THREE PARAGRAPH RANT...you stated music is free, STOP TRYIN TO BREAK IT DOWN SO MUCH...PS, nobody came on here for an update on music history, just to give thoughts on someone's creativity. As far as proving you wrong, hip hop doesn't owe you shit.

  • I mean for real, this guy probably makes money like nobodys business while chamber musicians who study instruments like the cello or violin for years can't even scrape by? This is stupid. I won't play into that idea that music has no rules. Music is the most free, and emotionally connected thing in the whole world, but I don't like some music. Therefore, to me it has rules in my head at least. I'll admit what isn't popular opinion, I think music sometimes has boundaries, that is how it

  • (2) I understand that there are musicians who play off of their lack of classical training. Nirvana and Foo Fighters are great examples. Not exactly sophisticated music but it sounds great. The problem is that you get these people who WANT to know the rules and be professional but as soon as someone calls them out or says that they are doing something a little goofy, like playing off time or chuging piano chords like a 3 year old they try to say "C'mon ma, music doesn't have no rules."

  • Oh my lord, freakin get real. You know this guy's intention wasn't to be artsy, he's very ignorant of what maschine can do. If he wanted it to be off center to the grid he would have made it look more intentional. This is that crappy in-between point where digital music collides with human feel. There are two reasons why I disagree with the theory that music has no rules. (1) people for YEARS have said that and they themselves have heard music they do not like. This breaks a rule in my opinion.

  • out of rhythm or not, those synth chords were nasty

  • the synth sound is crazy shit

  • Rap, the most useless waste of musical airspace ever.

  • @kewriga515 And if you're implying this is rap please press the "quantize" button next to the comment box before you post out of time

  • Do black people get their jollies off of this stuff? How stupid and ignorant do you have to be to understand that this is completely NOT in good rythmic timing. Under zero circumstances is this beat AT ALL professional. At first I thought maybe he was swinging it, but no there is just zero effort. It's like rappers just don't even care. And on top of that, you have to be pretty ill educated to not even have the audacity to push the "quantize" button to put it in time even if you suck that bad.

  • @kewriga515 Your racist comment is absolute shit! What does a beat with a RnB hook have to do with Black people. Are you mad because you don't understand the culture idiot, or because you don't have talent. You obviously don't understand human feel to music, and how to make digital music sound less computerized. You just don't have swing in your life. Ever heard of Dilla? Oh yeah your not a fan of the culture, just a Loser and a Hater!

  • @kewriga515 Your obviously not familiar with unquantization. "good rythmic timing" ? Wow what an idiotic statement. There are no rules to music. It's all subjective and to think that there is some optimal rhythmic timing to where it makes something sound good is completely oblivious. Close minded ignorance at its best.

  • @kewriga515 Jesus Christ have you ever heard of Jazz? or swing?? DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT MUSIC SOUNDED LIKE BEFORE COMPUTERS???? You claim ignorance and stupidity in others without first looking inward. Even if we move past the opening racist remark it's clear to me you've never appreciated music's classical roots. Tempo swings and changes all add color. There's a reason the world's finest symphonies still use conductors... and they don't press "quantize".

  • all luv bruh

  • sloppy meaning loose bruh. maybe iused the wrong word but thats what i call it. i said the beat was bangin homie. did u read my other comment?

  • @cr8head lol...my bad! :-) tu-shae

  • If people hatin then the man doin somethin right lol

  • its not the most amazing beats but the whole point of this i think is to show how fast the workflow is

  • Total shit. I let my gran have a go of my maschine and it sounded more interesting than this. BIG UP MY NAN

  • how did he load up the beat into logic??? i just got the maschine mikro and the only way i found to integrate within logic is to work with external midi tracks and he seems to work with audio track in this video. help anyone please ;s

  • @milkandchocprod Hey man :) in order to do what he did........you have to go to google. Type in Native Instruments website. and click on the official native instruments website. log on to your NI account. click on products....then, find your registered product whether it's maschine or mikro. then, you click on updates. and download 1.7 with this update.......you get the "drag n drop feature" you can also record your whole beat on one pad and export it straight to iTunes to your iPod.

  • Fire!!

  • this is really nothing special, at all.

  • Amazing!!!! Where is this as MP3... would love to stomp my feet to this everywhere i go!

  • whta's the difference between regular maschine and mikro maschine?? thanks.

  • Feeling the whole vibe ! Can't help but to move to da beat.

  • May i ask a question... How does the keyboard work wirth the maschine mikro to be seen/heard on the software?

  • @skriIIIIex keyboard is connected to audio interface / usb connection directly to pc/mac and records midi into sequencer (logic, cubase, etc)

  • Comment removed

  • @Dzoni73 Thankyou! :) ... so the notes played on the keyboard will show straight up on the maschine groove production software ?

  • @skriIIIIex Yes, ABSOLUTELY !!!
