The voice, the guitars, acoustic and electric, the whole atmosphere created by the music. Everything just works, and the acting in the movie, what a start to a great career. Very well done all around. It reminds me of the Executioner's Song, an old movie of a true life murder, mundane made interesting by the people and actors. Great.
