This is pretty much the extent of the power handling on an r-154. 750-800whp is where reliability leaves it. There are some upgrades to the r154 but I've never seen a gearset for it in the US.

I would bet money that its stock internals. There have been JZ blocks pushing 1200hp at the crank on stock internals. The concept of 1.5jz's is really just to cut corners if you blow your 1jz block and have a built head on it. You can just swap the head over instead of having to build the 2jz.

seen this car run at Moroso with a 2jz 5spd...also current 1jz automatic.....car is extremely laggy and in the 5 years ive seen the car run....neva ran better than low 12s

Contact Drewgo on Supramania,he sells 1JZ manifolds, turbo wise look into a 61mm, GT4082 or I think the best choice a T4 GT35R. You'll still need extra fuel to handle the power, wastegate, downpipe, tuning, FMIC, etc.

Stop making a fool out of yourself. The 1.5JZ is not a production engine but is created by combining a 1JZ with a 2JZ bottom end. The 2JZ bottom end will simply bolt on.
