sony phillips altec lansing jbl creative edifier all brands in 5k seg. SONY D8 and Edifier C2 bass just half of D8. when i went outside room i could feel windows almost cracking. I HAVE nOKIA e63. I enjoyed that video alot seriously comments or even wants to suggest better 2.1 in 5k slab sms Akshay@9958965847.
Guys i've bought d8. Subwoofer awesome. I do have AL 4621 but i dont feel clarity, instead of that i can feel vibrating from the subwoofer. But D8 is awesome guys. I can recommend for D8.But my satellite speakers are sounds like an untuned fm radio. What would be the problem. Can anybody help in this. Coz my friend is having D8 , its sounds good. I dont knw. Can anybody help me plz.
@ptc111 By "untuned fm radio" do you mean noise?? Are all the connections proper? From 3.5 mm jack in the laptop to every connector in satellite speakers and sub-woofer.
Have you tried using different devices for input? Like different laptop, a mobile phone etc?
Great that your friend is having same sub-woofer. Try swapping things to find out where is the problem.
Lastly, it's in warranty right? Get it checked at Sony Service Center. :)
@eartherian Dude yesterday i checked out my satellite speakers in nearby sony service center. to my surprise, there it sounds good. Eventhough i checked @ sony service center ! for my satisfaction, i carried my d8 straightly to my friend's home. Amazingly there also it sounds good man.Yet I have to connect via phone. Would it be any problem in my desktop's socket r sound card lik tat. I got it for 3990. Now sony revised 1000 for this d8.
@ptc111 Yes, it is available in 4K now. I think, as you said, the problem must be in the sound input from your computer. Try to connect via phone in your home to confirm.

And that treble part, @ 4.31, pronounced wrong.. I'm not an expert reviewer, jus pointing out the flaws..
P.S : I auditioned the SRS D5 & D8 @ Sony showroom and was wondering how sony could produce such a crap speakers.. No offence, but seriously @ this price, anyone can get way better 2.1s than this...

The listed price is Rs. 4990. I have purchased it in Hyderabad so can't particularly say about Delhi but as far as Sony products are concerned, its best to buy from Sony Center as SONY gives very little margin to the retailers.
My suggestion would be to compare the price from online portals like flipcart.com and Sony Centers in Delhi. SONY is giving a thousand rupees off on this which would be a great price if you can get.
Furthermore, there was script (though oral), there were re-takes, there was cutting and cropping, there was sound editing and putting the background scores and if you know the time of Video upload, it was uploaded on Monday early morning. Whole Sunday night was spent on shooting and editing.
Anyways, your comments are precious for us. They will help us to improve next time.

AL VS4121,
Creative T3100
AL VS4621(lacks lower mids though)
These are not as loud as the D8 but,
the sound is clean,
better sound separation,
better freq response..

There is no script
No direction
No Editing
It is just a meaning less floating video
There is no discussion about the price of product and the alternatives available in that price range??
Also you didn't gave any credit to the delivery man that is Yogesh, who also assisted you in buying the product...
