  • He's gonna be shot in the head and thrown off a rooftop by Heihachi in the end. But obviously he survives as the devil takes over him.

    I can't believe they considered Ryan Merriman for Jin's role. He's just an American fatboy. Jon Foo is way cooler than the character Jin anyway!!

  • I somehow got the impression. And isn't that part of Tekken 3 storyline? Not sure. Heck we don't even know if he's gonna be trained by Heihachi or by "Lucas." They could be changing the story.

    Actually it's incredible how little has been revealed. The movie should be out in a couple of weeks and there's no trailer yet. I've checked every day since June.

  • Oh yeah.. that's true. But then again.. the movie is all over the place.. who knows what its going to be like. And apparently he is trained by " Luke" not Heihachi.

    Hopefully the trailer will come out in 2 weeks

  • It was Lucas, you're mixing with Luke Goss. But whatever, it's stupid to take the right to change such a fundamental and elemental factor in the story. Jin should be trained by Heihachi, then deceived by him. They better not fuck this up, they've got such great martial artists and actors. I know the Spawn writer is able to do really dark, deep, cool stuff, but we'll see.

  • hey its best cuz if they took the storyline exactly and fucked up the movie anyway there would be no reboot. now isince they are and IF it sux then there's still a chance but no way in hell this movie can suck cuz they have martial artists from EVERYWHERE to play the roles and since its rated r like the cartoon movie... i believe its gonna be good

  • Is that a fact? Well I can imagine it's a role that puts a lot of pressure on the actor if he thinks he's not satisfying the millions of fans. But I can't understand why they would rather have had this white boy who doesn't even know martial arts. WHAT THE HELL? I can't imagine they'd have done that.

  • Goku looks like an Asian & should be casted as an Asian because he is based on the character Sun Wukong & he's also based on Jackie Chan's Drunken Master character.

    And also he was adopted by an Asian man, grew up on an Asian Culture, Dress like an Asian, Eats like an Asian, Talks like an Asian(Japanese) and his looks blends with the Asian character's like Yamcha.
