-Beats and timing is excellent.

-Impressive, sound like cover version of original Somnus Nemoris, but not that accurate from original video.

-Played extra melody, some bass sound(left hand) sounds definitely wrong at @1:31 , left hand should be played (A, E(flat), A.). Other miss sound can be found.

This is pretty good, but could use improvement. It's simply to heavy. It lacks elegance and coherence. The problem could be in the mic or my speakers, but I'm hit with a thousand notes all at the same time and can barely hear the melody for the harmony. For that reason, this version is second to HeavyOnDaGrind's.

Heavy's also using a keyboard and not a piano. He probably doesn't have touch sensitivity on or activated on his keyboard, therefore the notes blend in a better way. Heavy's version is not better, I think. This guy's playing on a real piano and I think power comes from those bottom end notes, which is what's to be expected. Yeah, it drowns a bit of the melody out, but you gotta blame the piano more than his playing.

Good job, guy. I really liked it.

Well, it's him who's playing the piano. A bad workman always blames his tools. Not to say he's bad, but he could use improvement (don't we all). Touch sensitivity has nothing to do with it. If he wants to get better (he's already great) he should ease up on every thing but the melody. He's good and I appreciate his style, but he needs to refine it some.

If you look at the track on Yoko Shimomura's "drammatica," the track is listed as "Somnus." I'm just wondering why it's called "Somnus Nemoris" in some instances.

the one on Yoko Shimomura's Drammatica album is called "Somnus", while the one in the FF13 trailers is called "Somnus Nemoris". it's the same thing, really. I don't know why they changed the title.

The reason why everyone calls it SOMNUS NEMORIS is my error. I once posted in several forums that the title was written in wrong Latin, it shouldn't have been Somnus -Nemuri-, but according to Latin grammar Somnus Nemoris (dream of the wood).

After that I realized that NEMURI is the Japanese word for Dream or Somnus. So the right title is indeed Somnus, or Nemuri in Japanese.
