  • Great man

  • he´s just fuckin´ good, i don´t know why is there so many people who hate him so much, especially -and that´s also weird- people from U.S.

  • @skimam Why do so many from the US hate him?

Because he had the guts to say that he prefers British guitarists and many Americans think that everything of theirs HAS to be the best.

Fortunately, we Brits appreciate his genius.

  • @MrHistorian123

i think its a bit of an exaggeration...he sells out 3000 seat theatres every night in the US too

  • @infinityjet

The US is a big country with a huge population; despite many Americans who resent him for his preference for British blues over American blues (one recently described him on another forum as "a traitor to his country"), there are still enough left over with open minds and enough taste to allow him the success he richly deserves.

  • @MrHistorian123 Who were the major influences on British guitarists? No other than American blues guys who were not appreciated by their fellow countrymen until British bands such as the Stones brought American music to America. eah the Brits were the first to do something cool with American music. Americans, I say you had your chance! I suppose the Yanks get shirty because someone else beat them them into acknowledging their own talent.

  • @holboroman If it was not for American's, the British bands would have been in Concentration camps.

  • @roost24 True, maybe, but at least the Brits had the grace to pull American music out of the concentration camps that America had created for its own music!

  • I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN SOOOOOOOOO BLOWN AWAY,I CAN FINALLY WALK AWAY FROM THE BULLSHIT NOW,THANKS JOE.....

    Nice performance

  • I listen to Joe everyday now, can't get enough of him. Looking for Live version of Tea for One .

  • that vibrato would make paul kosoff proud

  • This song is so beautiful...I started crying about halfway through.

  • I've been waiting a long time for someone who can do the following:

    1. Lay down rock, rock blues and blues tunes that will have you picking your jaw up off the floor. 2. Absolutely rip apart the fretboard by applying multilple techniques and blazing chops (this guy is NOT a one trick pony) from song to song and even within a song. 3. Have a voice that supports his guitar work AND can sing within the framework of multiple styles (rock, blues, rock blues etc..). JOE BONAMASSA is the REAL DEAL!!!

  • ...outspoken things of life...really good

  • Where I can thats hands please?!!!

  • You inspire me Joe to play more with a lot of practice.

  • thnx for uploading! I wounder if you have got more of the NSJ 2007 videos? There used to be nr 10 online of him doing a solo which looked like the intro of mountain time online but it disappeared! It inspired me of going to play guitar!

  • There is still quality music out there!!

  • This may be his best work! I love this song!!

  • Joe Bonamassa is the best blues guitarist/singer i have ever heard he is my idol!!!!!!!

  • SmoKin Hot!!! One of the Best Players Alive!!!

  • In awe. I hope I get the chance to see Joe live one day.

  • saw joe march 15th at embassy in ft. wayne in.almost 3 months later, and i'm still in awe! after nearly 50 years of listening to great music,he IS the one and only rockin' blues god. never quit givin' out those audio orgasms J.B. !

  • I don't get it...

  • Saw JB in Perth a few days ago - he's bloody good !

  • Paul Kossoff meets Garry Moore...brilliant

  • came to europe! please!

  • @3:45 how do you make that sound?

  • @nelsop2 more like 3:47 its the most amazing sounding kind of double stop bend

  • How does this only have 581,039 views :'(

FUCK POP MUSIC, AN ARMY OF MINDLESS TEENAGE DRONES...

  • @gkb911 pop is ok but when they autotune that shit it just sounds horrendous.

  • @gkb911 correction, FUCK MODERN POP MUSIC

  • @gkb911 Hey, I don't mind a bit of Lady Gaga or Katy Perry or Bruno Mars or whatever every so often. Obviously this oozes class, but there's some decent songs that emerge from the shitfest of modern popular chart music.

  • @gkb91 i turned 16 this month, blues music is my life not all teenagers are into pop. I'm seeing Joe next month, saw Joanne Shaw Taylor about a month ago, another brilliant guitarist and singer, i repeat, not all teenagers are into pop music =)

  • this guy is truly amazing, just saw him in worcester, mass. on 03/24/2011...it's that emotion he can put into his music without even trying, just like robin trower......listen to trowers' DAYDREAM especially.....paull marino,bolton,mass....

  • Holy Shit.................

  • Wish someone would put The Whale That Swallowed Jonah on here, I'm a technophobe and have no idea how to do it lol!

  • Who the hell dislikes this?!

  • With his new album Dust Bowl he has come in to his own and everyone knows his style now . The best !!!!

  • Nice bloke. Superb guitar player.Good singer.Sounds like and can play like Clapton, Gary Moore,BB King, Albert King, Jeff Beck, SRV, etc, etc. Can he ever sound like Joe Bonamassa? He needs to have a body of work that people relate to him, and him alone.

  • Reminds me of Gary Moore :(

  • Wonderful (:

  • Muito bom

  • Great show at the Brady in Tulsa!

  • His live tone is SO much better than his recorded tone.

  • Joe Bonamassa should play at Glastonbury, he'd kick everyone's ass!!!!!

  • @Kaizeppelin I agree!

  • Joe is legend!

  • wow, he censored the song !

  • P.s. Got my 66 year old father and some friends hooked too. Time to get on this bus folks. He's headed no wheres but up. Miss his show and you miss an amazing night.

  • Just caught his cincy show with the wife. Amazing live. Can't wait till be comes back. Have all his discs and can't wait till tomorrow for Dustbowl. Title cut is awesome. Wanna hear the rest.

  • Thank you!

  • I've been around the block several times, knebworth with Zeppelin and several donningtons, but this guy is awesome.

  • Amazing solo : kinda Mark Knoffler meets David Gilmour.

  • I love this song sooo much! Joe is amazing, one of my favourite musicians :-)

  • Why is everyone sitting down? Been to his shows, never have I sat down!!

  • @haftshar It's what people do now I guess. I saw Clapton last summer and these boobs were all sitting there eating hot dogs and nachos. Ridiculous!

  • after 3.45 the guitar is crying.....

  • what's (a) sloe gin? :P

  • @Lawr3nce95 a very, very horrible tasting gin drink.

  • @Lawr3nce95 it's a kind of gin made with the berries of the Sloe flower

  • I just saw him at the Brady Sunday in Tulsa. It made me a true believer. Rock on.

  • this guy rocks. I'm fixing to go see him in Tulsa sunday. Cool !!

  • Mmmmm vackert

  • im 16 and love this more people in my generation must listen to blues :) its the starting point for all the other genres how can you not love it

  • One of the best I EVER LISTEN 2 (teach me) Please

  • this is so familiar to the way I remeber him playing this in Reno in the same year. What a show..... Make it to SLT Joe.....Tahoe needs someone like you to blow the lid off this joint.

  • Volkshaus, Zurich, 03. May 2011.... See you there! Only 1500km away... :D :D :D

  • Hope to listen him at Volkshaus, Zurich, 03.05.2011.... Only 1500km away.... Thank God for airplanes! :D :D :D

  • I'll be at the Brady for Joe.....can't wait!!!

  • @thunderods Yeah it should be a good show @ the Old Lady on Brady tomorrow...Haven't seen him since he played Cain's Ballroom in I think 2007. Looking forward to it and hopefully a tour by Black Country Communion. He rocks in that configuration as well even if it ends up a one-time project. Glen Hughes can sing. Either way Joe is a real player. He breaks out some really nice guitars as well.

  • that solo is up their with the best of them... sweet child, beyond the realms of death, beat it

  • so deep WalksWithTurkeys

  • Passion, Emotion and Feeling > Technical Ability

you can teach scales but you can't teach passion and that's where most young guitarists falter... i'm self taught and i bet i can make a solo mean something far more than any of you guys sat there saying players can walk over him... FACT

  • Heavy heavy eric johnson influence there. Not a bad thing, but the sound is so similar it could've been johnson's song.

  • i do not think there could be a more perfect vibrato

  • @sebbbey : I love it, too!

  • @sebbbey Andy Latimer has better one ;)

  • @sebbbey check some gary moore vids then ;)

  • @sebbbey Paul Kossof imho but Mr Bonamassa does have a beautiful vibrato.

  • @sebbbey see tommy emmanuel, but yes Joe's got something special

  • If you've never heard the studio version, look it up on Youtube, and then listen to the whole album- incredible 10/10. The studio version is even better- IMO. All the same, love almost all his songs, live or studio.

  • yea hes good but i can play a major scale at 300 miles an hour...mu hahahahaha

  • 2:38 the surge of emotion got the better of him ... thats what music is all about

  • bonamassa rox!!

    ww.youtube.com/watch?v=Ccdr7lCQ5z4

  • alguien me la puede traducir por fis.?

  • Note to self: Hold basin under face when watching Bonamassa, currently cleaning my face off my desk :(

  • @MrMaggoo24 Same here! Let the tears flow and don`t hide your emotions! Felt good huh?

  • @MrMaggoo24 He Just Melted My Ears

  • just found out my misses is seeing someone else... lost my wife, kids, flat 2 weeks before christmas. but this song still gives me goose bumps. thanks jb

  • 28 dislike????? More Gin for them

    Joe, please, come to Rome

  • wow ,since i heard this dark and amazing song,i cant get enough of it.i keep playing it over and over again. o tyvm joe for your wonderment.i can tell that your so into the music that at the middle of this video you almost look like your going to past out. i know your not though.its just the power of this incredible song,,,,i just close my eyes and i fell like im floating through all the sounds of this song.

i fell like im alone and im trying to get out,so i can find peace and love. i long for.

  • just saw Joe at Hard Rock in Hollywood FL awesome.my first time seeing him..

  • Sloe Gin, Beautiful Drink.....rsss

  • Having seen JB a few times now I am still surprised at the modesty of such a great musician. Everyone knows he's a wonderful player but he still retains the "common touch" missing from some of the "love me I'm wonderful" players. I think you know who I mean.

  • Yeah, that was awesome

  • Viva Bonamassa

  • 3:43 SOLO YEAH !!!!!!!

  • Such a good fucking song!!!

  • I was there, nuff said

  • Excellent cover of one of Tim Curry's better tunes. Enjoyed this a lot. Joe does it more in a rock style while Tim's origiinal was played as a straight jazz/blues number. both wonderful.

  • Saw his show yesterday in Zagreb, Croatia and it was the best concert I ever attended in my life, and I saw Vai, Satriani, Gilbert and so on. They are all great but for me bonamassa is the top.

  • thanks for helping us spread the word friends. Please go to Joe's Official Channel and subscribe!

  • @JoeBonamassaOfficial

you kick ass JOE! Love the new black country stuff. Finally a super band that is indeed super. PLEASE DO MORE!!!

  • song is awesome

  • isnt joe american? i dont get why he is always touring in europe and not usa come on joe

  • that is the worst background vocal harmony I've ever heard.

  • Why do people (like HeliVis below) visit videos of artists they don't like, just to slag them off? Oh... I remember now... because the tests on their mother showing that she was carrying an horrifically deformed mongoloid, happened too late for the poor woman to have an abortion - so a mentally defective monster escaped into the world, and now it wanders around with fetid drivel running out of the sack on it's head, contaminating the world of normal people.

Put it out of it's misery, somebody.

  • @HeliVis - Going nowhere? And where are you at the moment?

  • @HeliVis LOL...No Talent?!!?!?! He has a load of talent...I don't think the other member's of Black Country Communion would be working with him if he didn't have any talent....You probably don't even know what DCC is now that I think about it!

  • @HeliVis

    2 words:

    Fuck You

  • @HeliVis

Thanks for confirming you're a complete prick

  • @HeliVis you have to be kidding me about this guy having no talent....he is definately one of the best blues players

  • that is without my favourite solo ever. 3:48 Those bends are killer. Such a tune.

  • Feeling so Cold...!

  • This has to be one of the best songs ever!

Walkswithturkeys says his music's got sole. Well mate, you aint wrong.

  • good god chills rolling down my spine

  • You are one grazy men ,.. respect ... w hen you are comming to holland ???

Greets Carmelo end Boss ,,, RESPECT

  • This guys kicks ass!!!! I been slinging a Les Paul for 30years and this guy is as good as they come.... This guy is a true Riverboat bluesman!!!!!

  • Very Talented, You don't see alot of that today....

  • This is makeing me late for my train - I can't leave : )

  • I see why you walk with turkeys

  • the progression here is similar to White Room, a bit slower.. nice playing

  • he is one of are last great guitar legends........its not about speed,, its about soul... jb and the guitar are one.!!! hard to find!!! i have seen him live.... amazing

  • wauwww you amazing

  • SLASH "Just saw Joe Bonamassa on Jools Holland again. He's definitely my new favorite guitarist."

seen slashing facebooked about him and he wasnt wrong

  • @Fierceage

is the footage on youtube? I'd like to watch that a lot.

  • @Fierceage slash doesnt have an opinion

  • @Fierceage I think Bonamassa's way better then Slash.

  • Slash really admires joe. THats what got me listening to him, and Slash was not wrong, this is awsome!!

  • 28 people clearly hiccuped when they went to hit the like button. How could anyone dislike this?

  • @swest94 some people are just bron dicks

  • check out black country communion. joe, glenn jones ,and jason bonham . and some other dude. spot on . ant the man great britain.

  • Hope he plays this in November in Springfield MA. CAnt wait for the new album to come out Sept 21st. Great Expressionist.

  • Hope he plays this in November in Springfield MA. CAnt wait for the new album to come out Sept 21st. Great Expressionist.

  • one of those solos I kick myself for not playing

  • I'm a death metal head, and I can't wait too see this guy in October he owns a special place of my heart.

  • Wish i could watch it live! Jo's one of the most underrated Artist but that does not make him any less talented ! Probably one of the few artist who would not trade his ingenuity for commercial viability! Enjoy Everyone.

  • good poayer, but his vibrato is horrible!!

  • @Branualsofsteel You must be on drugs dude. This is one of the worlds finest artists

  • He is an incredible player, and not so well known in the UK.

  • @WalksWithTurkeys Thats Ok. Hes not very well known in the US lmao! No record stores carry him hes just a Eric Johnson and KWS wanabee. He has no hits. Don't expect that to change! Record sales don't lie. Anyway he should at least learn ho to sing in key first.

  • @HeliVis You said: "Thats Ok. Hes not very well known in the US lmao! "

Why do people like you feel the need to post such aggressive put downs. Anyway, please re-read my comment. As you will see, I referred to the UK, not the US. They are not the same country. I cannot comment on his status in the US, since I do not live there. A colleague is a very good blues guitar player, and yet I introduced him to JB a year ago. He'd never heard of him. He now thinks JB is the dog's danglies.

  • @HeliVis Helivis and Buthead, lmao, hehe ... hehe... give us a post of YOUR singling "in key", you talentless, pencil neck, turtle brained, dick head

  • This Guy is a god I hope to become like Joe hes so creative and got such a great feel and sound and technique I honestly think this is as good as it gets hes got everything any guitar player would ever want lucky man Feel,Techniqe,Sound,Licks,Speed, amazing such a talented amazing guitar player :)

  • @sparklijelibean Naw you can't hear pitch can you? If you think JB has Sound licks and speed you'd better not search any of the ummm 3 MILLION players who can walk all over Joe. Joe is cool but cmon. Since when is using sound effects you're not even triggering considered playing guitar these days? I suppose Joe thinks "Guitar Hero" is playing guitar too eh?

  • @HeliVis "If you think JB has Sound licks and speed you'd better not search any of the ummm 3 MILLION players who can walk all over Joe. " The world is full of speed freaks who can 'shred' etc. But most do not produce music, they just show off. I find the noise made by speed freaks sterile, void of emotion. JB is an incredible musician, not a speed merchant. His music has soul.

  • @WalksWithTurkeys its ONE THING FOR SURE HE``S ON TOUR AND YOU R NOT

  • @WalksWithTurkeys if ya can say it with one note clutter the music up with a bunch of notes!

  • @WalksWithTurkeys exactly! those shredders- practiced all day how to play fast.. while guys like JB just listened and played music-- while practicing trhe essentials needed to get the music 'in' him -- back out--- so in the end.. we feel what the artist feels, instead of just being intellectually impressed over technique/ speed ... not that those arent impressive on individual merrits--just differant-- and not what moves most listeners --in the end.. IMHO

  • @WalksWithTurkeys i guess you havent heard of gunthire govan.

  • @turnbacktime "i guess you havent heard of gunthire govan." You're right I haven't. But I have heard of Guthrie Govan, and although his playing is technically astonishing, I find it for the most part completely dead and soulless. Fans of Bach and other early music might like him and needless to say I do not care for Bach either.
