don't you think that a piece of wood with some wire across it is slightly below the latest levels of technology and hence outdated? The technological revolutuion is moving so fast - keep up! All through time as far as history records man has always used the latest technology available to create music - strumming a guitar really is nothing fresh or new.
To be honest, I do like the MPC but it isn't quite as live performance oriented as the ES-1 was (especially in terms of sound reversal and live sound manipulation... I am going to make some effect boxes for it so that I can get the same features as my ES-1 had)
I'm sorry, I'm just bitter cause I loved my ES-1 but it FROZE when I was loading some wav files one day and it hasn't started up since, and there is NO hardware reset, and since it uses flash memory, there is no battery to unplug. I tried reinstalling the firmware and I did a software test/reset, it doesn't work.
