@buytoytroy1 If you think it's for the Wii U, go read details about this game, which comes out in March, whilst Wii U comes out nearer to Christmas. And that wasn't 5 players, just a 1vs.3 minigame with random Dry Boneses thrown in. The other dry boneses are at the side, dead after death.

@TheChris574 We do not know when exactly it comes out. However, some speculate that it will be out on Friday, March 2, 2012, according to GameStop. But, it could still be a placeholder, since it's coming from GameStop.

I think that for this Mario Party, instead of the car board, they should bring back the best boards from the first eight Mario Party games, similar to Sonic Generations where SEGA brings back the best levels from the Sonic series.

I'm happy that Mario Party's back, but I don't like the car board. The previous board gameplay was great, with its fun RPG style. I see no reason why they have to change it. I hope this is just one game mode, and that Party Mode will still be the same.

I LOVE Mario Party the first 1 that came out in 1999 USA ( 1998 Japan ) in my opinion Mario Party 1-5 were great , 6 WTF , 7 was good , 8 TOTALLY SUCKED and I hope

9 is good it looks like it was four years of an improvment since 8 wasn't as great .

Wow! I can't believe it! Mario Party 9 will be real! People (both non-employees and employees) have been planning Mario Party 9 since 2008, hoping for Mario Party 9 to be released. Some thought it will be over, and some still have hope on Mario Party 9. The announcement of Mario Party 9 would have been a miracle in 2009 or early 2010! Now I see it as a surprise party!

@seriouspancake at 1:01 you see bowser jr at the top jumping into a warp pipe. As for dk I was expecting him to come back in mario party 8 but hopefully they'll give us back dk and find someone else to do the bonus stage like Rosalina or Toadsworth. Im hoping that boo hammer bro, dry bones and blooper become playable characters again. I would LOVE to do minigames with just Shy guy, Koopa, Boo and Hammer bro just all bad guys :P

Man I never tought off rosalina as the bonus stage host that would be a really good fit.

About dry bones I'm sorry to disapoint you but you can see at 1:10 dry bones with 4 other characters.

Mabye he's in but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I am going to be really pissed if boo wasn't in the game but I doubt that will happen.

Let's just not hope they wil run out of ideas for characters then mabye Bomb-omb wil be a character lol.
