Am I the only one who thinks Boq and Nessa were adorable as hell at this point in their relationship? Seriously, when he first asked her to dance with him, I thought it was some kind of turning point--a good one, mind you--in their relationship, and I hated how Boq just simply lusted after Glinda all this time afterwards. I know Nessa wasn't all that...gratifying, yes, but Boq didn't exactly make her feel wanted. When she could walk, he was automatically ready to leave her, just like that. :/

@tomboyhannah there is alot of foreshadowing in Fiyero's song's in As Long As You're Mine he also sings "Somehow I've fallen under your spell" indicating she puts a spell on him. and then all the time he sings about being brainless. and then the "life if throughtless, when you're thoughtless." Soooo. yeah... but i believe no one expected him to actually become the scarecrow until it happened. The one thing I could tell, was that the lion cub was the Cowerdly Lion.

@MiyavisGuitar The weird thing is of the three 'we deserve each other' relationships, the one which actually lasts the longest is Elphaba and the hat. She only really loses that hat in her 'death' meaning that the 'relationship' (I use this term very loosely) lasts until very near the end of the play whereas both Nessa/Boq and Fiyero/Glinda end about half way through the second act. Elphaba's hat was the only one not to fall in love with someone else unlike Boq and Fiyero- I guess she was lucky!
