  • Thank you so much for sharing this video online! I was trying to find the right bottle for my baby and stumbled upon your video. After watching your video, I figured I'd try the latex nipple which I had bought earlier and didn't know how to use. And my baby has taken so well to the bottle! Your video is a life saver! Thank you! Dee

  • I am wondering how you warm up the Playtex, drop in bottle? I am a formula feeding mommy and want these bottles but not sure how to warm them. What do you do in the middle of the night or when your out and about? Can you put them in a bottle warmer?

  • @ecmomma To the best of my knowledge you cannot warm the milk up in a bottle warmer once it is in the bottle--I store my breastmilk frozen in Lansinoh breastmilk bags in my freezer and I defrost and warm the milk in those, or if the milk if refridgerated in teh pump n' save bottle or the evenflo glass ones I warm them up in those in a mug of hot water for about 3 minutes. In the middle of the night I nurse, so I can't really comment on what you would do then---

  • @ecmomma I just warm 4 oz of water in a regular medela bottle for 30 seconds and then add formula, put the cap on, shake well and transfer the solution into the playtex drop-in bottle!

  • Wow... clearly your review excited and thrilled me since I wrote a super stoked loooong response. =p I should do one of these! Although, it would pretty much be just like yours. =)

  • We have everyone of those bottles except the glass one. We LOVE the playtex drop-ins the best. You can get the Target brand liners for SO cheap! I still use the slow flow wide nipples (like on the 4oz model) even on the big ones b/c Sophie can't handle faster flow yet (still accustomed to the breast!) plus the wider nipple seems to mimic the breast better, the Avent ones does the same! Oh, and you can get that 8 oz one in a curved in design that looks sleeker and is even easier for them to hold!

  • @kyleandcourt I accidentally bought the flimsy drop-ins instead of the stiffer ones that drop in--I will have to pick up the target ones on my next trip out :-) Thanks for the tip court!
