  • yummoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I know of a good recipe for your pancakes. Make the pancakes plain, top it with homemade coleslaw, pulled pork, and top it with homemade barbacue sauce. People in the south call them redneck tacos. Or I guess a southern version of a KFC bowl. You and your family could give it a try the next time you grill out.

  • @Derek2001 Wow. That sounds really unusual and tasty! Thanks for the suggestion!

  • @ChefTips yeah, me and my girlfriend watch Diners, drive-ins, and dives all the time. And Guy was at this place down in nashville, tn. The redneck tacos were one of their items. We tried it one night and they turned out pretty good. I will have to admit that I didn't get to cook the pork as long as I would have liked. It was really windy that day outside and it was affecting the temp of my smoker like crazy

  • Made these last night and they turned out GREAT!! They were so good that I ate them plain straight out of the fridge this morning and everybody that came over for breakfast loved them too!! The only thing I changed was I omitted the whole wheat flour and added 1 cup of oatmeal. Will use less milk next time it was a bit runny. This is my staple breakfast from now on.... THANKS :)

  • @DaQueen4408 Terrific. Glad you enjoyed them. Thanks for the feedback! Jason

  • Great recipe - the pancakes are fluffy and nice. Thanks for sharing

  • @BetsysH0pe Thanks!

  • Thank you @cheftips! You make my morning happy haha, I used to make those microwave ones but now I have this one which is amazing & awesome! Lolz I have a question though, sometimes I don't have baking soda or baking powder, so is there a substitute for them or do I not have to use them if I don't want to? Thank you

  • I love banana pancakes. I never would have thought to add the pumpkin pie spice or to dice instead of mash the nanners (sorry toddlers). When you dice them is the batter fluffy like normal pancakes or is it still kind of flat?

  • i'm gonna make those banana pancakes while jamming to Jack Johnson <3

  • @AltimaW Hahaha nyc one. So am I. ;)

  • Good

  • Woah I'm gonna try it

  • Where is Jack Johnson?

  • @552nauj

  • YOU. ARE. SO. CHEESY.

  • @ThePinkAlpaca Yes I am.

  • hello. is there any substitute for whole-wheat flour? thanks!

  • @BintuHurairah

Yes, you can use regular AP flour for this recipe.

  • @ChefTips thank you!

  • Thanks so much for putting this - also tahnks for keeping the video lenght short - saves some time :)

  • @deepika0911

You're welcome. Thanks for the comment! =]

  • what's the difference between baking soda and baking powder? can I still make it without one of those?

  • @Sochilinda

Hello. Both act as a leavener to help bread rise. When they combine with an acidic ingredient (ie yogurt) the combination will produce carbon dioxide gas bubbles during the baking process. You could use either or for this recipe.

  • I made my mom watch this! Jk but i recommended she maked them, so delicious thanks you!

  • @hyrowang86 You're welcome!

  • press 3

  • BEST WAY TO START UR DAY!

  • @oogp Thanks!

  • Awww Chef why wouldn't you use melted butter instead of oil? Also 2 tablespoons of sour cream amps up the flavov if you are skipping the buttermilk. I tend to use Sasco dry buttermilk as I am not a fan of it for drinking.

  • what kind of milk is it?

  • @PHMasterBand Whole or low fat.

  • I tried it, and it was delicious! Goes perfectly with strawberry jam.

  • @TheDudeMaestro Glad you enjoyed them! Jam is great on pancakes! We especially like the lingonberry jam on Swedish pancakes.Good stuff! Thanks for commenting! Jason

  • Those pancakes sure do look yummy

  • So can I use 1cup of all purpose flour in place of 1cup of whole wheat flour? In a word, will I use 2cup of all purpose flour?? I'm sorry I'm asking you questions many times;(

  • @sweetpompnet

    That's it! =]

  • Does a white baking flour mean a baking powder??

Yes,I can get that. Asking mom,I can get all purpose flour!! Then,Can I use baking powder substitude for whole wheat flour?

  • @sweetpompnet Hi there, no white flour is not baking powder. Just use the all purpose flour in place of the whole wheat flower. Use the baking powder as directed. Thanks!

  • Hi,ChefTips. It looks so delicious. So I wanna make it. But it's difficult to get all purpose flour and whole wheat flour in Japan:(

Can I use what substitute for them?

  • @sweetpompnet You will need a white baking flour. Can you get that?

  • Can you just use Bisquick?

  • @demonicdeception1 Yes, but then it wouldn't be homemade. :)

  • that is a giant plate!?! :O

  • Is it just a normal pancake batter with bananas in? :-D

    - They look really good looking!

  • Nice vid. :)

  • @R34C3S Thanks!

  • Do you have to have the spice/nutmeg?

  • @MissImmie07 No, you can just use a little cinnamon.

  • with "all purpose flour" i dont have that (its for my mum 4 her b-day) would plain or SR be better?

  • @happygolucky151 Plain white flour is fine.

Thank you very much! I was looking for an easy recipe for banana´s pancakes, now i can make them for my dad (today´s his birthday). I´m sooo trying it! thanks once again:D

  • @estefstef You're welcome. Hope he liked it!

  • Can I just use a pancake mix bought at a store because being a kid you cant buy lots of ingredients :)

  • @lawlzlolx Of course. But it wouldn't be homemade. :)

  • can we use just 2 cups of flour instead of wheat and flour?

  • @zxshadowx

Yes, you can strictly use all purpose flour for this.

  • You ain't got no pancake mix!!

  • @DmN11366

I do, but it's better to make it from scratch.

  • really good =)

  • HELL yeh! . . .

  • @dezlee88 Yes, it's basically cinnamon and nutmeg.

  • Thanks for your recipe, and what is the differrences between soda powder and baking powder?

  • This looks delicious! I'm going to make this recipe this morning. Thanks for sharing and I'll let you know how they turned out. :)

  • @mimi5463 Hope you enjoyed it!

  • OMG THIS IS SO AMAZING but can you also do this with the powder in de supermarket like ; only add milk and then add some banana's???

  • @23artemis23 You can try it that way, sure. This is just the homemade version.

  • Took parts of this recipe, but the whole thing isn't so great for you...

For mine, using regular flour, oil, and sugar and maple syrup wasn't necessary.

I used some splenda, all whole wheat flour, and sugar free syrup.

    Tastes fine either way.

  • Great, except for the canned whipped cream. It is so easy to make whipped cream at home, and tastes better too!

Gotta go, for some inexplicable reason I have a craving for pancakes.

  • @jdlcool Oh yes. Homemade is much better! We just didn't have any on the day we made this video. :)

That was cooking spray. It's canola oil in a spay can.

  • @ChefTips

    well thats smart^^.

  • 00:12 how did you change so quickly? D:

  • What is the purpose of the baking soda in this dish? Can I just use baking power if I dont have the first one? What other spices can I use instead of pumpkin pie spice since I find myself in Norway at the moment and don't think finding this condiment would be any easy :)

  • @lorena9021074 You can just use the baking powder. Cinnamon and nutmeg are good subs for the pumpkin pie spice. Hope you enjoy the recipe!

  • que delicioso gracias por el video!

  • DO YOU NEEED the whole weat flour

  • haha ityped in banana pancakes i thought this was by jackjohnson but its just buy some random dude makeing bananapancakes haha lol i got pwned lol

  • The only issue I have with this recipe is, the maple syrup in the end. Do you have a way of incorporating peanut butter into a syrup type thing? Everyone knows you cannot eat bananas for breakfast without peanut butter.

  • @zakayda Feel free to spread on peanut butter instead of maple syrup. I personally love whipped organic honey on my pancakes. It's delicious.

  • hahaha, the beginning was funny

dadddy, daddyy!! make some banana pancakes!!!

I think that, after this one, the'll whish mom quits coocking ha ha.

Just one question: Is there any way to replace the baking powder? After i eat pankakes i burk for two days. Or maybe i'm just using too much or not letting it sit enough. Pls help me!!!

  • @waltercelario

It would probably be fine to leave it out for this recipe.

  • finally some pancakes without salt and with sugar !! :D

    ill try
