thanks mirza saheb for this lovely old punjabi song....truly a treat to hear it again after so many decades. better than finding any material treasure!
btw....can you please look for another one 'baitthi la ke udikan'....it is an ehchanting
RAFI SAHIB was Majhail Punjabi and dialect of Majha is most accepted in writting. So he said sohne sohne and never said dohne dohne. Mr. hamogaa has some mistake in listening or understanding. Pl listen once again.
"Pyaar de bhulekhe kinne sonhen sonhne kha gaye, door door jaande jaande nede nede aa gaye." Beautiful romantic words. Lata Ji and Rafi Ji sound like THEY ARE in love, not just melodiously mouthing the words. There is that kind of feeling in this Punjabi song. Thanks again,Mirzaji.
I mistyped donhne donhne as sonhen sonhne in the Rafi line, though Lataji seems to be saying sonhne sonhne.. Though I am a Punjabi , I don't understand donhen donhne . It could be from a sub-dialect. Does anyone know?
@chamogaa vow ! a really lovely duet ! lata ji i sings very well in punjabi too and sounds so sweet .! music is very melodious too ! thank you . and thanks to mirza ji for introducing this song .
