I used to be in SCCA racing. I remember a friend (Jim) of mine stopped racing after his wife begged him to stop. We just had another friend (Mark) killed at a track in California. 1 month later Jim sold his race car to please his wife as she was 7 months pregnat. On a weekend the rest of us was at another race, Jiim was on his way home after delivering the car to the new owner when he was hit by a trucker who fell asleep at the wheel. JIm was killed instantly.

List to some of peter final interviews when asked how his race went he he would explain how the weekend started and take forever to answer the question. If Peter had of retired from racing when he said he would and kept on racing then he would still be alive. he KILLED HIMSELF....

My brother had stacked a big bunch of tyres neatly, took him about half an hour to do and Brock visited and tore down the stack looking for a set of tyres he wanted, my brother confronted him about it and apparently he was extremely rude. He'd been rude to employees in that store on other occasions as well, what a prick.

He was called "Peter Perfect" due to his Bathurst Victories. Thus I thank you for telling off the people making silly comments. I`m a Ford fan but admired "Brocky".

No no, Peter brock died in the crash just after this race, Steve irwin died 1 week later shooting a new movie about sting rays, sadly, the ray stung him in the heart. The first story he come out with was along the lines ' after the accident, Peter was holding my hand saying " it hurts, It hurts " and then nothing. he just closed his eyes and nothing ' But later on. The story changed to ' when I come to, Peter was dead already, it was painless and quick. ' I for one believe the first story.

I didn't even know he was an Aussie until I heard about this crash. Of course, having lived in America, I never did know much about him. That was one very bad week for Australia, as Brock's death occurred three days after Steve Irwin was killed by that stingray. Talk about a 1-2 punch.

No no, Peter brock died in the crash just after this race, Steve irwin died 1 week later shooting a new movie about sting rays, sadly, the ray stung him in the heart. He pulled the spur out and died about a minute later. this all happend about 4 years ago. it was huge on the news. and yes the guy that pokes snakes and wrestles crocodiles.

I would understand if it was a croc attack coz he was such a fearless man and he used to play with fire like that but a stingray? He was such an animal lover. Thats really sad!!!

No. He wasn't. The co-driver made alot of different stories onto what happend and whether Peter was killed instantly or not. The first story he come out with was along the lines ' after the accident, Peter was holding my hand saying " it hurts, It hurts " and then nothing. he just closed his eyes and nothing ' But later on. The story changed to ' when I come to, Peter was dead already, it was painless and quick. ' I for one believe the first story.

I lived in Aussie for a couple of years when I was a kid. Every time ABC would have a race on, he was kicking EVERYONE'S asses. He was a hell of a driver. R.I.P. Peter.

I didn't even know he was an Aussie until I heard about this crash. Of course, having lived in America, I never did know much about him. That was one very bad week for Australia, as Brock's death occurred three days after Steve Irwin was killed by that stingray. Talk about a 1-2 punch.
