I am not sure why any body bothered to rate this video, I posted so that my family could always come here and see some of our old photos. Our side of the family on both my parents side (Barrera) come from Starr County. We can trace our roots to the original Barrera settlers. For a history of decedents do a google search of Steven Barrera, a first Cousin who has online genealogy of our family, his father and mine were brothers.
yes the Barrera Family are descendent's of Barreras that settled in Mier in the 1770's. Have lived south and north of the Rio Bravo, also known as the Rio Grande, River since then.
