My son has been playing since he was 4 and he stopped letting the ball double bounce at 6. Fundamentals of tennis, get to the ball early, any doubt? My son won the 10 year and under National title at age 8, he is 10 now and beats 14 years of age. I wish you luck with your tennis, get to the ball early and due racquet preparation. Good Luck
