I have hope!! I have a maxtor hard drive with priceless so when it went out i just bought a brand new one i have kept this one in a safe place for a long time and now i hope to have it repaired without losing the data is that possible?
swapping a hdd control board can be expensive, in some cases, or difficult to find the right board. Resoldering the SMDs is a good way to go, but you need to know how to solder right, but that's something every person needs to know
you may scan both sides of your hard drive and send us the photos , we then can have some suggestions for you
