  • @StonedAgainTV Amir looks like him.

  • What a voice...

  • has anyone else noticed that he pulls off those type of glasses pretty darn well?

  • lets not get ahead of ourselves, we can all agree that Dallas green is amazing but to say he is ten times better Clapton is just ridiculous

  • This is Amazing, I never heard him before, I like it very much.

  • What talent. 'Happy to see such new young talent. I'll always love Clapton but Dallas is right up there with him.

  • his voice♥

  • Dallas here looks quite a lot like a younger Clapton, only he is ten times more talented!

  • I love you Dallas. No homo, but i LOVE you. You have a song for every single feeling on earth.

  • the things he does to my panties.

  • @kaumithepig hahaha! "My heartbeat was growing weak"**

  • @kaumithepig CAN NOT. UN HEAR.

  • Beautiful song.. i know it seems spammy but i think anyone who enjoys Dallas Green(i.e. everyone) should check out the song Runner Up by Christian Range

  • This is absolutely beautiful<3

  • Dallas Green is the most beautiful man in the world.

  • Perfect.

  • never heard of this dude. and thats y i love it

  • Why is he so perfect....?

  • @heyitzmegann because he's Canadian and when he makes funny faces girls hearts melt.

  • Oh, why won't he marry me :(

  • i sing this song all the time on my recordings

  • I want to be able to sing from the soul like that.

  • his voice is amazing

  • i dont ever comment on videos because i believe that you make music for self and who cares what people think of it... But he sings to the soul and not to the ears and i have not heard that from anyone in this generation of music!

  • future eric clapton

  • Just great,JUST..GREAT DSADSA. <3 cheers from Argentina.

  • Greets from Panama, Dallas you're awesome.

  • What kind of guitar is this that he is using?

  • @Bblynnking 100 or so some odd years old Martin

    .

  • ofcourse he's well known...have you seen the views on his videos? generally for me the more unknown ones are better, but his music is simply incredible...with alexisonfire or on his own

  • 24 people have absolutely no concept of real music or talent.

  • The guitar, in this version, totally pwns the album

  • @TateTheGreat9 agreed

  • Gorgeous song.

  • I love this song so much. Too bad i hate it now because I had planned to sing it to a girl that I gave as much as i ever could to, then she dumped me...

  • Music is in his soul.

  • Sex is recommended while playing this song, only if you don't mind if it sucks balls each time thereafter.

  • @20387 Fuck you dude

  • @20387 Does that matter?

  • AMAZING SONG!

if you want to hear other musicians like this, head to my chanel!

    peace

  • its a shame that people know more "artists" that came out of reality tv shows more than they know of talent like this!!! Dallas Green you da MANNNN

  • i'm late for school... thanks a lot dallas green <3

  • Dallas Green, I will bring you all my love.

  • @MisMatchedSockMonkey let us not be focussed on what is unknown as being cool, let us not be prideful just because we know about something beautiful only a few do. I mean look at death cab they are great and have become well known, eventually somethin great is going to blow up, like bon iver for example

  • @ANDREUD2 i think you replied to the wrong comment...

  • a broken heart, a snowy night, and this song

    *sigh*

  • This is beautiful

  • jus found this yesterday amazing

  • I'm in love!!

  • beautiful.

  • Its amazing how this sounds live compared to the studio recorded one.. Almost no difference. This dudes amazing

  • I'm the only one happy that he isnt too known?

I'm glad he is not loved by all those pple who hear what is playing on mtv. I'm glad when I speak of him to my friends, they dont know him. I'm glad he's not taking part in the musical "market" industry system. I'm glad he's not trying to make money, I'm glad he's not showing his abs in music videos. This is a real artist, this is true music. I'm glad I could see him, hug him and telling how amazing he is,after the small show in paris. Thank you. <3

  • @VictoireBx I'm glad too. Though he is one of the most famous people in Canada!

  • @maczoolish Maybe, but not in France or in the USA ! btw, Canada rocks !

  • @VictoireBx You're glad an artist you like isn't making the money he deserves? What the fuck? And by the way, he is actually very well known. And every band or artist that is signed is taking part in the market industry system.. It's people like you who make singers feel bad about having or making money. I hope one day you're a million-are and everyone hates you. And you're all going to tell me to just listen to the music, well I do. But I also respect the person behind the music.

  • @19matmoc That's not what I meant. In France, he is not that known.. I know that he makes money with his music (of course) and I don't him to be poor, at all. That's normal that he makes money with his talent, such a big talent. Like you, I respect him a lot. He maybe the artist I respect the most. Sorry for my english, maybe a lot are like you, thinking that I'm a selfish fan. But I'm a just a 14 yo french fan, telling her opinion.

  • @VictoireBx In the us City and Colour is actually moderately big, it really blew up the show i went to in tempe AZ was almost as packed as taking back sunday/ thursday. It's not really a hipster band anymore, there were even women in their 40's and 50's there.

  • @DethklokNirvana Maybe in the US, but in France, I only know 3 people knowing his music... At his show in Paris, we were in a very small place and when he got out, we were only 5 knowing who he was... He is maybe really famous in America (I mean Canada & USA), but not that much in France.... :/

  • @VictoireBx Do you realize he is worldwide known? Due to all hes done in Alexisonfire, that when I was studying abroad in Poland, every came up to me and told me they broke up, ( due to the fact I am Canadian) And he does make alot of money he just doesn't flaunt it.

  • @VictoireBx hipster

  • @VictoireBx too known? the man is a fuckin icon. not everyone listens to this genre of music, but i'm sure for the ones who do know Dallas Green.... ugh im not even going to continue because i could be here all day, your comment seriously disgusted me, although your intentions were good, you lack knowledge on all things everyone seems to agree with you on. anyhow, im glad you got to see him live. thats truly a blessing

  • @InfliktionDrums what exactly is this genre of music? i love it!

  • @javagirly11 acoustic. although others would be quick to misinterpret it as indie, or alternative. glad you enjoyed it:) im sure you would also enjoy Bon Iver if you enjoyed this

  • @VictoireBx He ditched Alexisonfire in order to make more money because he had become popular without them. Even though they helped him get to where he is, he just ditched the band and all their fans. As much as I love his old music, he refuses to do a comeback show with his old band because he's too busy for them because all he cares about now is the "musical market industry system".

  • @SubliminalSixtyFive Did you actually read the letter put on their website from George? Dallas had played a full year with Alexisonfire against his will for the band. I wish we can have both but the reality is that Dallas has a family now and to expect him to do a full year touring with his band and then a full year touring his solo album is ludicrous. His solo project is easier to manage and allows him more time with his family. Don't be so fucking selfish.

  • @VictoireBx Don't agree. I think that everybody should be allowed to hear this kind of music. It's too beautiful to be unknown. Real and true musicians continuous being real and true musicians even when they appear on MTV.

  • @brunocopeland It's more often the label behind the musician pushing them towards mediocrity. Major labels will nearly always force bands and artists to produce shit records so they can cash in more.

  • The resemblance to Eric Clapton on the thumbnail is immaculate. <3

  • this song should be playng at gates of heavan

  • Dallas Greens music is like a drug everytime i listin to it i get lost within the music

  • City and Colour - One of the only music "artists" who can perform as well live as in the studio, if not better. That's a real musician. Not a prepubescent teenager with a fringe.

  • A new feeling arises when I hear Dallas sing. a mixture of happiness, excitement, pain, joy, and freedom. Thank you to a close friend that introduced me to this magical feeling. ia au oe something viscious

  • Am I the only one who feels like every note Dallas Green sings penetrates me anally and maybe I enjoy it?

  • Dallas Green and Search the City are honesly the only reason im still alive. It always sucks losing the one you love.

  • Man!!! I heard "Northern Wind" at a wedding, it was the couple's first dance, me and three other people went up to the DJ and said "Who WAS that?!" I am GLAD I went to that wedding, this guy is phenomenal!!!!

  • The fact that he sounds this good LIVE is just fucking incredible. Dallas Green has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard.

  • If you like Dallas then you might also like this:

    Worth a shot right?

  • A City and Colour AND Bon Iver collaboration would be sooooooooooooooo amazing!

  • just really deep... he can transmit the feelings... cool

  • OH. MY. GOSH.

    This is amazing

  • Those chords got mad swag.

  • Dallas Green A Genius

  • So beautiful song!!!

  • Dallas Green.

I have an awkward obsession for your music and ejoy watching your adorable face sing(:

    LOVE CITY & COLOUR<3

  • No Demi... get off the recommended videos. This man is too godly for you.

  • @anthonimorrow834 Demi is quite talented herself, and she's just as musical. Well, almost. You've obviously never seen the girl live... wow. But Dallas surpasses her, in my opinion of course.

  • Wow im lonely as fuck... not cool.

  • @94hmcleod I'm with ya on that one.

  • @94hmcleod i wish "those ppl" did know of him id rather this playing 24/7 then the crap kids are listening to...id rather them hear this.....lol and maybe u need knew friends lol everyone i talk to knows green...ive loved his voice since alexisonfire....rock on :)

  • only 600k views? are you mad? this should be millions.

  • Everytime I hear this song it takes me back to the night before my husband deployed. Dallas puts so much emotion into this song. I feel like he wrote it for us. Thinking about that last night with him gets me through all the days without him. Treasure the time you have with the one you love, you don't realize how much you appreciate them until they're gone.

  • @chandra3410 I sincerely hope your husband comes back home safe. Stay strong and use the love you two have as a foundation to lean on.

  • @Kronx1970 Thank you so much! Staying strong is my only option, and I'm counting down the days until he comes back and we're a family again.

  • @lolheydubstep Come home safe, man.

  • <3333

  • great song. i liked him better in alexisonfire though. but his solo stuff is still good.

  • @lolheydubstep My wife and I did the same thing before I deployed.

  • Does anyone know what kind of guitar that is?

  • @JakobiWanKenobi The brand is a Martin, not sure on the model though. You might be able to find it on his wikipedia page.

  • @drummerdustin6 Awesome thanks man :)

  • the 22 people who disliked this are fuckin flamming homos who suck farts out of gay boys fart boxes

  • My Marine sang this to me <3

  • Dallas Green is one of my favorite vocalists. <3 This guy has mad talent, hope he keeps making music.

  • what tuning is this song in?!

  • @cudi1is3god drop d

  • he really reminds me of eric clapton :)

  • his beard makes him look a lot older

  • @lolheydubstep Gonna cry. You jerk.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow. This dude really mellowed out .

  • dallas green is the only guy i have ever known that can pull off the pedo beard and glasses :P

  • This man has mad class, I <3 it.

  • i can't understand how the haters could dislike this song. or any of Dallas's for that matter. Each one is absolutely amazing :)

  • It's funny that all related videos are City And Colour...and the titles of all of them are purple x)

  • MAGIC!

  • His glasses say, GET IN THE VAN!

His voice says, Sssshhh. Just listen.

  • I LOVE the simplicity (and colour) of this music! Today's pop songs have so many electronic elements to them, which can be good sometimes but, I feel like we're losing the Art of a Musician connecting with their Instrument (which sometimes is a guitar, sometimes it's there voice). I love hearing music that has real energy and emotion in it! Glad it's here! Peace~

  • 19 people havn't ever loved hhahahaa

  • Dallas Green is our generations' Eric Clapton.

  • @lolheydubstep God bless you and your girlfriend. I understand. This was the last song we listened to before I left her and our 5 month old son. Semper Fidelis.

  • @mourge101 dude tht's just not sumthing you tell people

  • @batmman08

pretty sure he said it because he left for the military too. whats wrong with that?

  • @psix3youxox i did'ny read tht? all it said wasi left my family

  • @batmman08

Semper Fidelis... Semper Fi.. its what the marines say. i see where you got confused though no biggie :)
