Very easy, pacifist way to defeat Barrett -- run up to him and zap him repeatedly with the Stun Gun. It takes fewer zaps if you aim at his head, rather than his body. But either way, he never gets a chance to attack you, and zapping him over and over again is really quite satisfying.

Typhoon 2x takes down the bosses very easily.

for this i had the stealth aug and i just stealthed and repeatedly headshot him with a combat rifle no need for cover it was sweet

You could actually have taken the elevator back to get the stuff for more money.

All I did instead of running around and shooting at Barrett was crouch down behind the concrete barrier (0:49). Toss three or four mines at him and the battle is over.

it's pretty funny cause I also laid down 2 mine afters softening him up and he died too. Pretty awesome considering I had a decent amount of trouble against him my first playthrough
