We used to take the bodys off and just run the chasis, those cars would fly around those curves. It was alot of fun back in "77" - "78". A friend of mine would modify the elect. contacts on the bottom some how and his cars were the fastest I've seen to this day. I cant remember what cars I used to have, but I bet they are collectables now. Great times......

LOL...Dad cheated when he wrecked. Too funny. Do they still make AFX. I had a few tracks. I had a similar set up as this one that include the bank and a hill. It came with the 1970 1/2 comare and a Dodge Super Bee with High spoiler. It was a lot of fun. I went AFX crazy when the G+ came out in 1977. Bought my first G+ for $10.99 when I was 8 years old. All the kids came over to play on the best track in the neighborhood.

There are championchips like that.. Tracks more that 10km long. Every 200m theres a checkpoint, you have to go back there if you fall off. Pretty fun, watched it live :P

I love the old AFX racetrack cars, and I want to get some for my boys. Any advice on where to buy them? Also, what size is the old Aurora A/FX size? Seems like all the videos I find are of much larger cars with 4 or 6 wide lane tracks.

Hey If you just google AFX cars it will come up with shops that sell the sets and the cars. I loved them too as well as the Tyco Slot Car Sets when I was little. You can also always look it up on ebay too. Happy Hunting!!!
