I used to smoke loads of pot all day and I was the always first person to stand up and defend my right to do so.Gradually I got withdrawn from life and the people around me so I decided to try and give it up.Im happy to say i succeeded in quitting and Im so glad that I did.Life is much more interesting and I feel alot better without marijuana.I would encourage any pothead to give it a go and be honest with yourselves in your assessment of what is better-existence with pot or life without it.

The only reason why marijuana still illegal is cuz the alcohol, the paper, and the pharmaceutical companies will lose a shitload of money so they keep paying these politicians to keep it illegal. Marijuana is not a " recreational party drug," it is a medicinal herb. Hemp (the male plant) can be made into paper, its cheap and easy to make, so no cutting down trees and hemp seeds are very nutritious. Keeping it illegal is just pure stupidity.

The hemp that the founding fathers were referring to is a plant related to marijuana and didn't have enough THC to get you stoned. I used to smoke loads of pot all day and I was the always first person to stand up and defend my right to do so.Gradually I got withdrawn from life and the people around me so I decided to try and give it up.Im happy to say i succeeded in quitting and Im so glad that I did.Life is much more interesting and I feel alot better without marijuana.I would encourage any pothead to give it a go and be honest with yourselves in your assessment of what is better-existence with pot or life without it.

Marijuana is not a " recreational party drug," it is a medicinal herb. Hemp (the male plant) can be made into paper, its cheap and easy to make, so no cutting down trees and hemp seeds are very nutritious. Keeping it illegal is just pure stupidity.

The hemp that the founding fathers were referring to is a plant related to marijuana and didn't have enough THC to get you stoned. Out of context. Alcohol is the topic during the time health effects were not well know. Hemp as a textile product. Albert Einstein as a pragmatist doesn't think the law can be enforced. @HUMBULLPIE A lot of things that were legal when their health effects were not well known, are now illegal. There is now more evidence supporting a ban on alcohol than than there is for a ban on Marijuana.
In a 9 minute video it is impossible to put everything in context. The enforcing of anti-marijuana laws does in fact cause more damage than Marijuana does. What context would change that? When alcohol was prohibited, much the same sort of damage ensued.

The argument comes from poorly kept prohibition statistics that lumped all crime together. It didn't separate crime from the alcohol trade from other crimes. Under that argument cocaine should be legal in Mexico. Look up "Data on Mexican drug war violence." "Mexico drug war deaths." " 34,612 fatalities between 2006-2010.
