Grow up people, there are different cultures in the world who have different practices than you and I.
The odd's are his snake was de-venoized. I highly doubt ANYBODY would allow a child to come in contact with a poisonious snake {outside of the wack job "Snake Handler" christians here in the states} that wasn't.
And BTW, the kid seems content.
