diSEMBOWELMENT is one of the greatest bands of all time they are one of the bands that created the Doom death metal genre together with WINTER another band that formed just about the same time as disembowelment. but a the difference in the two bands is that disembowelment added more of that ambient sounds. winter sounds more traditional they are both grat bands.check out winter when any one has a chance.

@overkillron thanks for commenting....glad you like our music....still cant believe how far this band went on just one album.....i mean the band had actually broken up before the album was relerased....i myself was in the US in 1993 when the album was officially released and the band had been apart for at least 6 months

Wish we hadn' t used keyboard for the outro section 08.11 sec as it the only time we used keys and it was a afterthought and should have been mixed way lower at very least as it too disonant and just shouldnt have been added....notice the black metal style vocal which at the time Darkthrone, Mayhem were coming on scene in a big way it was our way of showing them up at little and Renato did a great job with his BM styled vocals on this song!!

@Reyesabicas You were a member of diSEMBOWELMENT dude? I have to say, thank you guys sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo­ooooo very fucking much for creating such a monolithic masterpiece. That album has inspired me so much in its aesthetics of mixing two opposing extremes (bone-crushing doom and surreal, ethereal ambience). There's no album I own that has been played so much.

@JonathanToomey thanks for commenting, i must say i can see it works overall but being subjective and remember that from the moment we tried working in a keyboard section - i was against it from the start as there was never going to be any keys on the album....it was completely a afterthought and there happened to be a keyboard at the mixing desk set up and i just wih we'd mixed it a little lower in the overall final mix

I remember looking for this album for a long time and I found it about eight or nine years ago. at an old record store in Berkely, CA for five bucks. Cant beat that. I still have it to this day and cant part with it.
