Here's a funny story. Christmas of '92 I can't remember I was a baby my older brothers and sisters woke up in the middle of the night and unwrapped the SNES and played mario kart. Then they cleverly put it back in the box and wrapped it again making sure to not make anything noticeable. On Christmas morning my oldest brother acted really surprised when he opened it haha.

Pete I was also 6 in 1996, and I also got a Sega Genesis that year, except I was in Argentina, and didn't speak a word of English. It's beautiful how gaming can make us have such a connection in passion and joy, and I have only the fondest memories of it all. Thank you for reminding me how precious life can be for a moment.

My mom had it waiting for me as a surprise, when I came home from school one day, along with Zelda I & II for the NES! I always thought those Genesis with the Sonic pack-in games were awesome though! Though, I never got to experience opening up one of those for the first time. Oh well. :) And I as someone said, your grandpa DID have great taste in video games!
