  • NICE sound...

  • Nice pickup !

  • Its a british loco design that was re fitted in the USA with a new engine and chasis and various other bits its a 140 litre V12.

  • theres a jet engine inside.... the german have the same technik for there locomotive in the alps to come on top on the mountains the germans have ROLLS ROYCE (KHD) T53 Helicopter jetengine in there locomotive

  • sounds like an aeroplane or a fighter jet about to take off...

  • Thought they were built in Ontario AND by the Yanks.

  • @HolmesofBakerStreet nope they were actualy origionaly a british design

  • Great sound!!

  • are they finally sending these little buggers over?

  • Definetly EMD prime mover

  • @troy12n

You are correct. EMD builds not only American diesels, but for other countries as well. I believe some 400 and something Class66's have been made.

  • OMG is that a Veolia operated loco, cos they have buses over here, I hate em

  • acceleration!!!!!!!

  • the class 66 is the same locomotive seen there when operated by British operators.

Locomotive i think is made in canada

  • boring though eh ????? never match a or sound ,,, or look as good as a class 55 DELTIC ,,, or 40 for that matter ,, and even the 66s are the last of a kind i think ??

  • I hate the 66s no character look boring no clag and too quiet

  • @ alien1974 : To quiet? To be honest, I don't even want to be near one when they throttle up to get there load out of the station....

  • wat is class 66 toch een zalig machine

  • not got the "PRESENCE" of a class 55 deltic "has it "?? and whats this ""NO SMOKE AND CLAGG " these new engines are that clean ,,i think the exhaust is pure oxygen haha

  • exactly modern diesels aint got no clag

  • sounds suspiciously like an American SD70M-2

  • Think SDL-39. 645E7-12. A1A trucks (bogies)

  • its really a Euro SD60-2. Has the same 710 Prime mover...same Horsepower rating.....prolly the same tractive effort too

  • Not the same TE, they're much lighter.

  • It has a V12 710 engine rated at 3000 Hp. And the trucks are C-C. all axles driven.

  • Good livery. Still hate the things though. Sorry.

  • It's a class 66, very common in Europe.

  • American made British loco you mean. It just spread to series 66. Class 66 is is a British loco.

  • Veolia. They seem to do a bit of everything.

  • Great Video !!! I love it..

  • great vid thanx 5*

  • Leuk filmpje, en dat deze loc even zijn neus in het station van Blerick laat zien om kop te maken. Deze loc word de laatste tijd wel veel voor deze trein ingezet, normaal zie ik hem weleens voor die kolentrein via Arnhem.

  • Nice!

  • Great Video!

  • Vet !

  • Great video - Thanks!
