  • SWEETNESS

  • I used to HATE the Bears but I always absolutely LOVED Payton. The guy was 100% class and one of the best athletes of the 20th century along withy Man 'O War and Secretariat and of course Michael Jordan! God love 'em all! RIP Walter! You were a pleasure and an honor to watch! And you were all class!

  • I cried the day he died, all of Chicago did, the roughest-toughest man in town shed a tear that day. Beautiful vid, God bless! RIP Sweetness.

  • NFC Central (North) has had some of the best running backs ever!!!!!! Jim Taylor, Paul Horning, Gayle Sayers, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson. I'm a Vikings fan but god I love watching the highlights of Walter Payton, Gayle Sayers and Barry Sanders, Horning and Taylor were the best of their time, and AP is carrying the torch!

  • the bears need another walter payton

  • RIP Sweetness, you legend from a Da Bears fan in UK

  • you know why walter payton is the greatest football player ever? because he used blocks and when there were no blocks he went around everyone, not go where everyone was like modern day football players

  • Greatest player to ever play the game.

  • attention all high school and college running backs: if you dream of playing in the NFL, watch highlights of Walter. the only instruction you'll ever need.

  • Boker111, I agree with mrmojow, you need to learn football. Research the complete stats to include the offensive line i.e. blocking and team each had in front of them. One of many contibuting examples is, Detroit made it to the playoffs 6 times in Barry’s career which reflects a fairly decent team with a couple of pro-bowl O-lineman spots achieved. The Bears were not even close to that in Payton’s whole career. In a nutshell, Walter did a lot more with a lot less than any RB in history, period!

  • Fuck Adrian Peterson. Walter "All-Day" Payton. Suck my dick if you disagree.

  • I don't think many can dispute his greatness. Probably the best combination of speed, power, elusiveness, passing, receiving and most of all...HEART!!!

  • still gives me goose bumps. I grew up in IL, watching him, too. 200 yards and Bears lose. Sunday after Sunday.

  • I remember a defender once saying,"If you're gonna tackle Payton, be ready to take a hit."

The dude just never gave up.

  • I like how he failed on the first dive stood up and jumped through the second time. LMAO! @ that part.

  • MY ALLTIME FAVORITE RUNNINGBACK!

  • tell me how i found two of his rookie cards in my basement they were my dads both 850$

  • My hero, rest in peace, sweetness

  • W.P Walter Payton is the greatest RB ever lived

  • The greatest football player that ever lived

  • barry sanders is way better and what up with the music?

  • @boker111 Kid you know nothing about football, Walter Payton was the greatest RB to ever play, he could run, catch, block, throw, even kick the damn ball.....shut up and learn some football!

  • boner

  • Awesome video, whats the name of the song?

  • If you notice he never spikes the ball or taunts an opponent. A gentleman and a class act!

  • i know walter payton is amazing but you have to give some credit to these blocks

  • @SerbKing1 He did. The first time he ran for 1200 yards he bought his whole O-Line Rolexes

  • we salute you walter

  • SWEETNESS was DA BEST!!! =)

  • 2:14 whoah!

  • Never ran out of bounds. Only RB to do that. He never passed up an opportunity to deliver a crushing hit to his opponent. He felt that he was stronger and that he could wear down his opponents that way. It also served as a sort of intimidation factor against weaker guys who didn't like to take the punishment.

  • Ill give you everything you said about Payton, except being the only RB to never run outta bounds. Lets not forget Earl Campbell, he was known for not going out.

  • we have something called an irp for school and i read a biorgaphy

  • chills. I get CHILLS watching that dude play ball.

  • walter payton is amazing he and barry sanders are the best runningbacks in nfl history

  • Nothing finer in football than a high stepping Water Payton stiff-arm!

  • @lgchristianson damn right

  • payton was the greatest.. grew up watching him run, amazed me every time he touched the ball

  • Walter was the best. Barry cant hold his jockstrap. *** hmmm barry pickin up bliltz on 3rd down??? never happend*** Barry was a liability on short yardage.

  • Barry sanders could have broken his record but quit cause he didnt wanna beat his role models Record

  • Go find a Barry Sanders video.

  • what you mean?

  • walter = the best ATHLETE ever

  • gay music

  • This is why Walter Payton is the best Running Back Ever.

  • he was so amazing at reading blocks. HOLY SHIT

  • 2:08=Amazing

  • Pure Sweetness.

  • He was magic

  • sure miss watching him run he was so amazing!!! just like barry those 2 are nfl legends!!

  • walter payton had that leadership in him that made his team play good.

walter is DA best running back ever.

he had finesse and power that is like barry sanders and earl cambell combined.

    DAM HE IS A BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like the way he runs. he had mad agility and love the high stepping run. I see where Barry gets his running style from as well. Payton was agile even though Barry is more agile, Payton was the best hands down.

  • Best runs.

    Best catches.

    Best blocks.

    He could do it all.

  • Walter was basically a 5' 10'' Mack truck.

  • right on man iv been looking for a good video of walter payton's best runs
