i grew up in the 50s and 60s youngest of 6 so i listened to a lot of different kinds of music..folk was one... girl you do folk justice you are great....its to bad now that the kids dont like it....to much into image...idol and mtv .. instead of someone singing from there heart..FOUR STRONG WINDS...really takes me back...and the originals awesome....girl you keep after it maybe thing will change...PEACE MY FRIEND....

I've listened to a lot of covers of this song, and I really like yours. The only Marianne Faithful album that I've listened to much was _Broken English_, and I think I'd remember if she'd covered this song there. I'd guess it was a lot earlier in her career? Circa "As Tears Go By," I suppose? Have you listened to Ian & Sylvia's recordings? I'd love to hear a cover of one of their less-covered songs, as they wrote a lot of other fine songs.
