  • I know for sure the nismo y-pipe was like 2.36" to 2.75" outlet b/c i remember taking measurments.. but after the y-pipe i believe it was 3"

  • Automatic much...

  • @MrJdm350z you are retarded ,it is clearly a manual.

  • you do have the nismo y pipe rite ?

  • @srsairbags in this video i had the nismo ypipe.. but now i am running the aam ypipe.. nothing was wrong with the nismo ypipe i was just looking for a true 2.5" to 3" outlet ypipe.. the nismo ypipe was like 2.36" to 2.75" outlet

  • @gsingh350z The nismo exhaust is a 3in piping right?

  • @Knguyen632 yea it was 3in piping from the y-pipe back

  • @gsingh350z I'm a little confuse sorry. So why isn't the NIsmo Y pipe also 3in?

  • Nismo #ftw

  • one of the best sounding 350s i have ever heard

  • kida 22 ki hall tera wher u from mayn i got a 350z too i want a exhast like dat leme no wt ya got bro

  • How much did the Nissan 350Z NISMO cost?

  • I got the Nismo exhaust for about $1,000.

  • Berk was the only one to utilize the stock support brace..It is basically a bar that supports the cats (helps prevent harmful flex)..

And Berk and FI are the ones out of the three that use metallic cores. Metallic cores are better than the usual ceramic, they are supposed to last longer and give better gains, basically they flow much better. However because of increased flow, they might make a slight raspy sound, but it goes away after a small warm-up..

  • No dude. Everything is Nismo except for the cats which are Berk.

I was just recommending another y-pipe b/c the Nismo seems to lack the amount of flex, which could cause cracking..

It's been about 5,000 miles and everything is holding up great. I check the parts at every oil change..

  • What do u mean when u say that it lacks the amount of flex? and what kind of cracking? like real cracking from the exhaust pipe?

  • Flex joints were put on the y-pipe to reduce movement of your exhaust pipes. Your engine wiggles slightly as you accelerate and decelerate, and since your exhaust is attached to your engine, that moves with it. Flex pipes are put there so your engine can flex, and less movement of your exhaust.

And if your y-pipe isn't allowed adequate flex, it could result in welds being cracked at your cats/heads, which has happened numerous times with the Z cars.

I have about 15K on this setup, no problems.

  • How do they look? i mean when i look at an exhaust, what should i look for?

  • look at the y-pipe. I hope you know what that is (its the section that comes right after the cats). It looks like a Y.

On each arm of a y-pipe, you will see a flex joint around 6-8in. long. Search online for y-pipe pictures and you will see it. It's pretty obvious.

  • Good shit man. sounds great!

  • is that what you did? or are you running the nismo y pipe?..where did you order the high flows from

  • any cracks yet, how many miles you put on the high flow and exhaust combo so far

  • No cracks.

I have had this setup for about 4,000 miles now..

If you plan on going with this setup and want piece of mind, switch out the Nismo y-pipe for some other y-pipe that offers better-located flex joints (like the JIC)..

  • not sure whats up with my hotmail account, everything looks wierd, yes im on my350z
