jeez, that mistake will probably cost you the game, and for what? a classic unforced error as they love calling it in Tennis. :\

Unforced? He was pushed to the side by the turrets and attacked head on by the wraith. Even if he had been farther left it's hard to say if he would have been out of range of those goliaths. All in all sure he could have made a couple of better choices in that attempted drop but I wouldn't call that simply an error. Unlike in tennis he did not have full information of what he was facing, an unforced error in SC would be accidently lifting of your command center or idle probes.

ITA, Murkglow, good analysis. Fantasy played a perfect tactical flank. Leta made the "correct" decision to push in with dropships when accounting for limited information Leta had: if you can't defend, counter. It "would have been" the proper response, to take down an exp when Leta couldn't defend one, except that Fantasy set up that perfect 1-2-3-4 punch with turrets defending, defensive drop incoming, goliaths restricting pathing and the wraith to hit them while hiding&vulnerable. Fantasy>Leta.

That is, Leta did NOT make a mistake with his dropship play there. He just got beat.
