  • Japan please give us proper vending!!!

  • I would do my dining every night at the Japanese vending machines.

  • That food must be expired!!

  • I would say Taiyaki is tasty. Filling for traditional Taiyaki is sweetened red bean paste (anko) which is often used for Japanese sweets. Some Japanese people, especially younger people, are not very fond of this sweet red bean paste nowadays, so some people would say Taiyaki is not tasty. Outside of Taiyaki is basically very similar to waffle, and could be filled with other things other than sweet red bean paste. They often also sell Taiyaki with ham and cheese inside.

  • OMG that looks SO good! So much better than crappy American food!:D

  • "Hot menu... Casual frozen foods." Hahaha...

  • It's 2011 we still don't have this in any big city in America :|

  • @shkdbsahbdlabf1 actually we have something close to it in New York city

  • Japanese made vending machines Epic!

  • There is a part of me that's tempted to go to Japan just for the vending machines XD

  • Is taiyaki a tasty food? I went to Japan once for a seminar and asked some of the Japanese about it. And, they said it's not that tasty at all. But, in your point of view, if you have eaten one, do you think it's tasty?

  • @Tsuop I would say taiyaki is tasty, but some Japanese people, especially younger people, do not care too much about the sweet red bean paste filling known as "azuki" or "anko" traditionally used to make taiyaki. Outside shell of taiyaki is very similar to waffle and it tastes very similar as well. Taiyaki can be filled with pretty much anything besides the traditional sweet read bean paste filling, and I have bought and tasted taiyaki filled with ham and cheese before.

  • @Tsuop If you wanted to find out what taiyaki sort of taste like, make a waffle at home and get a can of sweet red bean paste at an oriental store, and eat them together. But as I said in the previous post, you can pretty much put anything inside taiyaki. It is called taiyaki because of the shape of it, not because what might be used as filling inside it. "Tai" means "sea bream" in Japanese.

  • but how much would 400 to 500 yen im dollars?

  • The vending machines is definitely something I so want to see in Japan. Not to long ago, I saw this show on the Food network about all the high tech vending machines that are out there, especially in Japan. They even showed some of the food, and yes it is fresh. They even showed a store that cooks the food but serves their food through a vending machines right there on the spot. It was a wall of vending machines in stead of people coming in to order face to face. Crazy cool. Thumbs up man!

  • LOL@that sign

"Hot Menu" "Casual Frozen foods" ...Uh, ok. The "frozen food" part is a little redundant. Kind of a weird juxtaposition there.
