I would say Taiyaki is tasty. Filling for traditional Taiyaki is sweetened red bean paste (anko) which is often used for Japanese sweets. Some Japanese people, especially younger people, are not very fond of this sweet red bean paste nowadays, so some people would say Taiyaki is not tasty. Outside of Taiyaki is basically very similar to waffle, and could be filled with other things other than sweet red bean paste. They often also sell Taiyaki with ham and cheese inside.
Is taiyaki a tasty food? I went to Japan once for a seminar and asked some of the Japanese about it. And, they said it's not that tasty at all. But, in your point of view, if you have eaten one, do you think it's tasty?
@Tsuop I would say taiyaki is tasty, but some Japanese people, especially younger people, do not care too much about the sweet red bean paste filling known as "azuki" or "anko" traditionally used to make taiyaki. Outside shell of taiyaki is very similar to waffle and it tastes very similar as well. Taiyaki can be filled with pretty much anything besides the traditional sweet read bean paste filling, and I have bought and tasted taiyaki filled with ham and cheese before.
@Tsuop If you wanted to find out what taiyaki sort of taste like, make a waffle at home and get a can of sweet red bean paste at an oriental store, and eat them together. But as I said in the previous post, you can pretty much put anything inside taiyaki. It is called taiyaki because of the shape of it, not because what might be used as filling inside it. "Tai" means "sea bream" in Japanese.
@090786389410 yes, I counted the other way around, I multiplied instead of dividing, of course, four dollars are cheap. thanks to the great inflation in Japan I was not sure if this is really so cheap
It is a ticket machine... Put in money, get your ticket, go to the restaurant to your left (not to be seen in this video) show the staff your ticket and receive your food...
how come a lot of people think that like where the decimal would be in dollars you put it there and that would be the amount??? that isn't how it works!!!
Few years ago I went to Japan & what I know is I had buy drinks from vending machine but I missed buying hot snacks there. Are they a lot of vending machines selling hot snacks too?
@worstphobia You dont have to be so hurtful!! today at my school are teacher told us that ALL AMERICANS ARE FAT BECAUSE THEY INVENTED FAST FOOD" exact words! (lol i live in brasil so plus my teacher is not american (i am american)
@Tiva6799 LOL yeah i'm american too, i'm pretty fit and not fat at all. but i wish i was in brazil, i wouldnt have to see so many fat lards walking around all the time. its disgusting.
There's something similar in at least dutch snack bars where an entire wall can be covered with lids and coin slots with some fast food in it. Freshly made by the people behind the wall.
Hello. Few years ago I went to Japan there & although I knew some vending machines in Japan but is it there's lots of food vending machine in Tokyo & Osaka?
