I got Motherboard Gigabyte GA-770T-D3L Amd Phenom x2 555 BE (stock cooler) Sapphire HD5750 Vapor~X WD HDD 500 GB sata 3 4 GB corsair value DDR3 1333MHZ Samsung DVD RW+ 2 LED cooling fan Gigabyte Superb 550watt im playing cod black ops and got some lags. Did i need to change a new psu or quad core processor? Give me your opinion. Thanks :)

@Landak36 no that's not correct. Ur video card has a recommended PSU of 450 watt, which you are above. I think It's the game not your video card. Do you lag on any other games? try dropping all settings down, resolution, AA, AF and all that so the game looks like shit. If it still lags then it's the game, if it doesn't lag then it could b a hardware problem. Have you tried reinstalling the game? a clean install wouldn't hurt. Try these and get back to me.

@dontpuchit niceboyandy is wrong. When CPU chips r in the factory they r given an approximate speed value, instead of testing every CPU ( cause that would take alot of time ). So when u overclock ur CPU, you find it's full potential but heat kills ur CPU ( from pushing voltages ) but u can get a better CPU cooler to help this. Overall if u push ur CPU too far it does tend to decrease the life of it but if u read forms u can get a good idea what a safe area/speed would b. Hope this helps : )

@thehunter126 your graphics card supports D10.1 not 11... also 648 MHz clock, which kind off sucks for a $350 card. I just got a 4850 for $80 new and it too has D10 and 625 Mhz clock. Matter of fact for $250 you could've gotten an HD 5870 WITH D11 and 850 Mhz clock.... I cheaped out on my graphics card cuz I do most of my gaming on the Xbox, but I THINK if I crossfire my 4850 with a 4870 or even another 4850 it will be superior to yours, however this is just a speculation. Awesome build tho !

@dmgnh2007 well the build isn't really new. Intel has launched a new line of products code named Sandy Bridge, for processors they have the i5 2500 & 2500k @ 3.3Ghz amd the i7 versions being the 17 2600 or i72600K 3.4Ghz - The K means the processor is unlocked and thus overclocking is rather easy. The motherboards on the other part is where it gets tricky. Intel now has the H67 and P67 motherboards. The H versions come with built in graphics HD2000 for i5 and HD3000 for i7 but

@dmgnh2007 do not support overclocking. The P67 have no integrated graphics but DO support overclocking. As for mixing cards it is possible you should double check at ATI's forum as I know that certain cards will not work together. 4850 & 4870 no problem, also 98% sure that 5670 & 5770 shouldn't be a problem at all. Just make sure to stick to the same manufacturer from your first card, i.e xfx, diamond or whichever you have for ultimate compatibility. hope this helps

@Smokedoutraider Thanks. My 5670 is a Diamond, and the 5770, a good card that a buddy of mine has playing Battlefield 2 at medium settings at 60 FPS, is dropping in price. Between the 2, I'm thinking I could greatly improve my gaming experience. Good video... love the sound track.
