ahhh i remember these guys on the tv program my sister showed me on bbc2 i think it was, all those memories come flooding back everytime i listen to there songs :)
im 16 years old first got introduced into the saw docters when i was about 10 years old its my mums favorite band! eversince i got into them i just cant stop listning! there absolootly amazing! Best songs are this and everyday<3!
this song was at the high point of the movie "The Tavern" and it sneaked up on me...am so glad to have found it online...loved how they worked it into a dream sequence in the movie...very powerful moment enhanced by this song...great music, great lyrics...!
dont know if this works coz i havent a clue about computers. But if anyone can read it.. this lot are without doubt the most under-rated and hardest working band going. they deserve the success the unsuccessful untalented xfactor winners get at the drop of simon cowells's hat. rock on leo and davy. thanks for keeping it real see you in the olympia and fat sams.
I've seen the Saw Doctors live, they're a great band, and this is my favorite song in their repertoire. This tune has a haunting quality to it that resonates in your mind long after you here it.
If Tuam had been a big American town and Galway an American state, The Sawdoctors would be massive. They are already in my view anyway.
