Why do most dancers do turns on there right side (right foot up in posse) but I personally like my left side better! The reason is that I sprained my ankle a couple of years ago now it's kinda week. This is so inspiring!!! I wanted to start ballet but being 12 it was a little to late. Then I looked for contempry dance, it was very hard to find a place because all of them said u had to do ballet and an other dance. The other day I went 4 a jazz try out. @camiloly528 costumes can be really expensive - sometimes you get lucky and can get a re-use where you pay half of what they paid. Most expensive was ~$450 Most are $250-$300, but it varies by studio

If you have a dance competition early in the morning,what time do you have to wake up to get ready?

@psychtherapist2009 they usually want us to be at the comp 2 hours early, but sometimes the theatre only opens an hour or so before start time. You have to give extra time to get dressed, put on makeup and drive to the theatre and warm up/run through.
